Niggles out of the way first:Getting the front legs lined up is fiddly and you have to do this to assemble, not in instructions.The on/off switch on the body is not annotated so you have no idea which way to go despite instructions sheet point 1Remember the 3 x AAA batteries for the remote and a decent screwdriver is better than the one provided. The first battery is hard to fit in the bottom, and you need a flat screwdriver or similar to remove it.Once you are sorted, this Surplex Remote Control Dinosaur is good fun. It is easily controlled, walks at a good pace, went from carpet to another surface easily and makes noises along the way. The softer pads on the hind legs gives it grip on smoother surfaces. I would think you could take this for a short walk and have people staring. To turn, just go forwards/backwards until it is in the desired direction, or just backwards and it will turn a left circle. It feels sturdy, the plastic is hard, the mouth moving and tail waggling are all part of the charm. Younger children and adults will love this toy. Priced at £20.39 at the time of this review, not bad for speedy Dinosaur

Nice dinosaur. However disappointed that the bottle that was supposed to contain the fluid to create the smoke was empty! With lots of toys similar to this on the marker, I only opted for this one over others due to the feature of the smoke. This is a feature I was unable to use so feeling a little let down as I could of bought for a lot cheaper elsewhere.Other than thos, the dinosaur was like by my 4 year old son

My dino mad son absolutely loves this toy, it's really, simply to use and looks great. The price seems fair and reasonable and there's really no assembly required apart from clicking the tail into place.Great toy overall.
