Review: Wow! Don’t hestitate, just buy it - It’s not often I will take the time to review things, but I simply had to review this book. The art of being a brilliant teenager is simply one of the best books I have ever picked up and read. We are going through an “interesting” phase with our 13 year old son. Fundamentally he’s an amazing kid, but he keeps letting himself down by making silly choices and decisions. We are a very open and honest family who talk about everything, but I can’t help to wonder if he always listens and realises just how amazing he is. We do of course tell him this on a regular basis as he continues to thrive, achieve and grow, but again, it’s hard to know if he truly understands just how in awe of him we are. This book dives into everything from self esteem and self worth, to mental health, schooling and relationships to name a few. There are pages to engage with by filling in self reflection sections, and so much more. I always proof read books before handing them over to check that they will be useful rather than cause any confusion. I have not been able to put it down. I’ve shed tears, laughed and can’t get over how brilliant this book is. I’m going to leave it on the coffee table as a go to pick up and read out loud often book. Just amazing in every way. Review: A great book - Great present for a 13-year-old. Guides them to how to be brilliant.
