needs a strap
It's kind of awkward to pick up the bar if you're having to get it off of the floor. As if this thing had a strap to hold it to your waist. Other than that, it works great.

Great if you have elbow tedonitis
Bought this pad to use for sitting cable curls. Definitely worked great and allowed me to continue to do curls while suffering from right-elbow tendonitis, and have seen strength gains since purchased. Highly recommended.
