I love this set. I'm new to gouache, and this probably isn't the best set for beginners, but I've been painting a long time. these are nice and thick- a little goes a long way, nice and pigmented, blendable and layer well, if you use the right technique. Of course, you should probably be semi-experienced in gouache or even just painting to get these because they require some technique and experience, but they work amazingly, they don't dry up, I mean I went out of country ALL of December and never even touched these. It's March now, I just opened them and they're all still moist. Just be careful! Don't be like me and forget about them. Spray them weekly, even if you aren't using them!

Great gift! Love all the colors and the quality of them. It dries fairly quit and is super easy to use. The value is a little steep but its a great size for starting out.

Wonderful value for the price. I don’t use gouache too often, but I love that they have similar properties to watercolor in that they can be rehydrated. The case is pretty and the colors are quite lovely. I’d say they’re honestly on par with my Arteza gouache paints.

I already own high quality gouache that comes in tubes, but I wanted something that was really easy to use (and clean up) so I could paint more often! No use in having fancy materials if you don’t use them, right? So I ordered this cute little set.Pros: good color range, decent brushes, cute + portable little box.Cons: kinda hard to open the little cups; colors are streaky; not really intended to be fully opaque; so far I’ve kept the seal on the cups to prevent them from drying out but that makes it harder to use them and see what colors are where (though there is an included “map” of where the colors are).In my experience so far, using Canson multimedia paper and the included brushes, the gouache works best thinned out more like a watercolor, though the effect is not as transparent and it doesn’t give a clean wash of color.It’s fun having all these colors, and this set is making it easy for me to paint in my art journal daily bc it’s portable and easy to clean up. Would I use these for a project I cared about? No, but as a busy mom trying to fit in time for creativity, this set does the trick!

Good paint. It came as expected. I've only tried arrtx jelly gouache paints before. The consistency, texture, opagueness is the same for both but I find that the himi gouache dries out a bit faster but on the upside it reactivates very very well with the addition of a little water. I am please with the product. The large number of colours allows for endless colour combinations.

I can't get enough of this paint set, it's my go to for everything! I love how you can use it thicker like an acrylic or water it down' and use it like a water color. The colors mix beautifully and the brush that came with the set it my absolute favorite.

Bright and soft gouache to paint whatever you want. Keep it closed so it doesn't dry out. And if it dries out with water it's easy to fix. It has good coverage but it all depends on how you use it if you dilute it with water or not. It has a variety of colors and they blend perfectly.

Fun to use. Vibrant colors, smooth and creamy.
