loud long resonance
this makes a great sound with rich resonance. The stand isn't very stable if the gong is swaying. Dogs don't like it :)

Excellent sturdy gong with a pleasant sound
I am a teacher and use this to start my class. It has a good strong sound to it. It lasts for about 10 to 20 seconds. I’ve had one or two kids knock it over by accident and it was fine. It is wonderful and durable. it is definitely worth the money to pay for a better one like this than the cheap $20 ones

Healing Sound…
For a smaller Gong - it is very powerful! Worth it if looking for a smaller healing sound therapy addition!

flat sound when struck, but then resonance holds reverberation for a good length of time.
There is no good tonal quality when struck, although there is a long sustaining tone vibrating once the flat tones are gone that are good harmonics.
