ANNIMOS 20KG Digital Servo High Torque Full Metal Gear Waterproof for RC Model DIY, DS3218MG,Control Angle 270°

So I had the 20 kv servo for close to a year and never used it,but my arrma fireteam 6s stopped steering 100% and I was not wanting to wait until the replacement came so I figured this was not going to be powerful enough or hold up, so it installed easily, and looks like it is a factory piece, it's not as fast as I would like, but truthfully it's as fast as the spectrum one and doesn't cost even half of the price, I've ran 2 battery packs and some light bashing and it's still working properly, and the durability of it seems to be well worth the price and even better than some of the other ones that are twice as high, really I don't have any complaints other than it does sound a little bit more noisy than I like but it's probably because it is having to work harder than intended, I think if it was a 35 or 45 it would have not been as loud because it would have not been under as much strain, but for now this 20kg is stronger than expected.

Used for steering in a robot and RC car. Works well, durable and stable.

I ordered this for my HPI Baja 5B because the steering/throttle servo went bad, and I ran across this on Amazon. It was priced really well so I thought I'd give it a try, and needless to say, I'm pretty impressed. I was able to install it without any modifications, and it was a perfect fit. Setup was easy, and it has a lot of torque for its size, and it is pretty quiet. It is well worth the money.

It's extra tall, so it might be a tight fit in some RC cars like the Tamiya Grasshopper or Grasshopper II / 2. It only generated 12-15 kg in tests before the recent update on 2025, so just buy one that is double the torque that you need. All that said, it has metal gears, is digital, and is waterproof, and very inexpensive, so as long as you know what you are getting, and compensate for that, it's a good deal. While it claims the brand is Annimos, they are just a distributor of the DSServo brand servos

Easy install

Ok like most reviewers, I was / am skeptical because of the price. I think us hobbyists are so used to paying HUGE markups that when you find a legit product at a fair price we are skeptical. I replaced the stock Losi S612HV steering servo that's used in the Losi Rock/Baja Rey. This dropped right in, needed to trim the left splash gaurd (in the pics) .. simple! My immediate thoughts.. this thing is amazing at this price point. It's not a hitec (or is it)? All I had to do is set my end points (rates if your using a Spektrum transmitter 😌). My first impression.. very nice, much better than the stock. If it holds up.. winner! ***UPDATE*** After a serious end over end crash, that destroyed camber and steering links as well as the tower mount. I can tell your this servo held up. It's a great buy and I highly recommend!!

Très efficace, un peu de jeu après 50 packs

This servo works great on my 1/10 RC. I did not find much informations about this servo on the net but I though it might be worth the risks to try it out! Finally, i found myself a strong enough servo for what I intend to do with it. The speed may be a little lacking at arount 0.2s for a 60 degrees movement. But this servo is really silent.. and sturdy!!

Das Servo ist beeindruckend schwer und fühlt sich durch das Alugehäuse edel an. Es ist mein erstes brushless-Servo und man hört in der Bewegung kein knarzen oder kratzen wie bei normalen (viel billigeren) DC-Servos, sondern je nach Geschwindigkeit eher ein angenehmes Summen. Der abgedeckte Winkelbereich liegt übrigens bei etwas über 180° und NICHT bei 270° (mit Servotester ausprobiert). In der Beschreibung hier tauchen dazu ja unterschiedliche Werte auf. Tests hinsichtlich Kraft, Geschwindigkeit und Dichtigkeit habe ich keine durchgeführt, als Lenkservo für 1:8 ist es aber definitiv geeignet. Bin insgesamt beeindruckt, muss aber gestehen, dass ich im Metallgehäuse keinen praktischen Mehrwert sehe - triggert “nur” das haben-will-Gefühl, wenn man es in die Hand nimmt :-) Das Servo ist seinen Preis wert und trotzdem im Vergleich zu Alternativen teuer.
