Got my husband stumped
My husband can solve the regular rubix cube fast. I put this. One in his stocking. He hasn’t solved it yet.

Good basic cube
This cube has some smooth turns. Its a bit complicated to learn how to do it, but some tutorials cleared that up. After weeks of use, it has some resistance to moving. Its worn down a bit if that makes sense. Overall its nice tho.

Smooth spin cube
Sometimes puzzle cubes of this nature, especially when the grid gets larger - can be difficult to rotate but this puzzle cube is a speedy smooth delight. I personally can’t solve this type of puzzle but my husband is able to and he commented how nice the movement is. A great gift for puzzle cube fans.

5 stars because the price is so low
I saw this product for $6.48 and had to try it out. The logo on it is the same as the Megaminx I had just ordered and that is really nice so I was hoping this would be just as good. This is not magnetic, nor was the Megaminx, but this is a decent cube. Magnets are just a luxury because I'm not a super speed solver, it's mostly just a fun fidget toy for me, so I'm very happy with it. I have a couple other 4x4's which feel about the same but costed triple. This cube is pretty loose and easy to turn and it does snag a bit but I think I like this one better because it is slightly smaller than my others. I made no adjustments and didn't lube it up or anything, I usually don't use lubrication unless they're really bad because I will just have to clean it more often, but that would probably make an improvement. I also have a vintage Rubik's brand 4x4 and this just blows it away. The really old cubes require so much effort to line up and turn, they are not even fun after using a modern cube. This is a fantastic budget cube for a young learner. I guess nowadays most cubes can be thought of as a "speed cube", this also says it's a "smart" speed cube which to me implies a bluetooth connection and a phone/computer app, but this is not that. I don't think anyone could mistake it for that at this price so that's not really a concern. It's a nice toy, thank you.

Great source of frustration, but comes with instructions
If you're wanting more of a challenge than your 3x3x3 cube can give you, it's time to get a 4x4x4. This cube feels a lot like the original brand. The colors are stickers, not insets. There are screws on the hubs that look like they could be adjusted, but I didn't try. The sides are a little hesitant to turn sometimes, just like the original. The oil from your hands will help with this, but sometimes I add a little extra lubricant to keep things gliding. This comes with some tutorial instructions, which assume you already know how to solve a 3x3x3, so they don't cover much of that. They do cover most of the extra knowledge that you need to bridge to a 4x4x4, including some new algorithms for some new situations that you will encounter. One of the new moves is about 15 steps long, so I still need to practice my memorization of that, but it's fun to watch the solution slowly converge. Once you know how to do a 3x3x3 and a 4x4x4, it's my understanding that it's not hard to learn any of the larger sizes. The dimensions of this cube are slightly larger than a standard 3x3x3 - maybe by a quarter of an inch. This is good fun for the fidgety puzzle fan.

A bit smaller than what I expected, but otherwise a nice quality cube
It is a pretty simple product, so there isn't too much to be said about it. The reason for the star off is that it is a bit smaller than what I expected (and what I see with other similar speed cubes). However, from a functionality perspective, this is a good quality cube - all of the "hinges" rotate well with little effort, even to the point that our 3-year-old son could play with this as well.It also comes with an instruction set that shows how to solve the cube (though I do have to say that it is a bit difficult to follow, even with it). Overall, I would recommend it for those looking for a small 4x4 cube.

Nice magic cube
My kids love this magic cube so much. It is good for developing kids' brain and it is easy to hold and turn and twist. The cube is in good quality and very sturdy. It is a great cube for begginers. Like it!
