LG Monitor review (34WR50QC)
I recently purchased this monitor (34", 100hz | QHD, No speaker model) for £271.28 / €311.25, on the 3rd of October, it said it would arrive by the 10th-16th yet it arrived on the 6th (so 4-10 days early, UK to Ireland), personally for the current price of '€379.42', I wouldn't recommend it, I'd wait for it to go on a discount so you could swipe one up for ~€300 like me,my first impressions were quite solid, easy installation, good brightness, screen area and colour accuracy, when I first turned it on everything was stretched which was normal, it took me a decent while to configure it, I needed to switch it to the recommended resolution of 3440x1440, set the refresh rate to 100Hz and in the downloadable onscreen control app set the brightness to 100 contrast to 60 black stabiliser to 0 and the Adaptive sync to either off, basic, or what works best for me visually; extended,(This may vary depending on whether you're using Windows like me or not)keep in mind that changing any of the listed configurations may or may not result in screen stretching, black bars etc, just play around with the settings until you find the ones that suit you best, with my current config there is no screen stretching or low resolutionIt came with a HDMI and Display port cablefor anyone with tight spaces, the full dimensions of the monitor areWithout stand: 81cm in length, 36cm in height and about 4cm in depth (screen curve accounted for)With stand: 81cm in length, 48cm in height and 23cm in depthnote: some games may not support wide monitors like this one like GTA V, if you want a normal experience in GTA V, you will need to play on these settings:Screen Type: Windowed BorderlessResolution: 3440x1440 (will depend on what resolution you're running at)Aspect Ratio: Auto/What works best for youSafezone Size: about less then half

Decent for the money, no reall
Recently got a 34WP88C-B at home for my office, which made it hard to use my desk at my other job with a smaller screen. The 34WP88C-B cost 3x more, is IPS and has an ERGO stand but honestly, I prefer this cheaper 34WR50QC thanks to 100hz refresh. There isn't much in it from a picture point of view. Both are great but this is excellent for the money.

Avoid at all costs!
Monitor is great whilst it was working, however the design of the base/stand is shocking and is not fit for the weight of the screen...as in the screen is too top heavy for the stand provided.. its very fragile when fitted and the first time it was slightly moved the whole thing fell over and cracked the screen so can't use.. so please do not purchase, buy one with a better and more functional stand/base

Impressive Visuals, Audio Letdown
The LG UltraWide Curved Monitor 34WR50QC undoubtedly delivers a stunning visual experience with its 34-inch display, 1440p resolution, and 100Hz refresh rate. The immersive curved design adds an extra layer of depth to the viewing experience, making it an ideal choice for both productivity and entertainment. The video and image quality are exceptional, thanks to the VA display and HDR 10 support. Colours are vibrant, and the high resolution ensures sharp details in both work applications and multimedia content. The 100Hz refresh rate provides smooth motion handling, making it suitable for gaming as well. However, the monitor falls short in the audio department. The in-built speakers, despite being a convenient feature, proved to be a disappointment. I encountered issues with the audio output, which led me to reinstall audio drivers on my computer, assuming the problem was on my end. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. In an attempt to troubleshoot further, I connected the monitor to my PS4 to check if the audio problems persisted across different devices. Regrettably, the results were the same - no sound from the in-built speakers. This experience was particularly frustrating as the audio is an integral part of the overall multimedia experience. On a positive note, the monitor does come equipped with AMD FreeSync compatibility, enhancing the gaming experience by reducing screen tearing and stuttering. The inclusion of Displayport and HDMI ports provides versatile connectivity options for various devices.Despite the audio setback, the LG UltraWide Curved Monitor 34WR50QC stands out for its impressive visual performance and feature-rich design. If audio is not a critical factor for your needs, this monitor offers an immersive display for both work and play. However, for users who prioritize audio quality, it's advisable to invest in external speakers or headphones for a complete multimedia experience.
