At this pricepoint, this knife is perfect, and I don't say that lightly. I would have preferred a liner lock just because a liner lock is a more proven design, but this button lock works perfectly after a month of use, so, no complaints. The blade profile, which is thin and essentially a full flat grind (technically, high sabre, but so high that it's virtually flat), makes any slicing task easy. Resharpening would be easy, but hasn't been necessary yet. 154CM steel was once called a super steel, and still has terrific properties for the price. And the handle is small yet sturdy and comfortable. Open and close are very smooth. Weight is super-light for as sturdily build as this knife is. I own more expensive knives but in this size range, right now this is the one I'm using because it's slimmer and lighter than the others, and seems just as capable.

This design is deceptively modest. looking but, at a second glance, highly unusual in the world of folding knives. A handle of very lightweight G10; one of the most durable non-metallic materials available. And being machined out of one piece, makes the handle simpler and stronger than conventional construction. The wide, flat-ground, 154CM blade is beautifully shaped for for all-around utility. Extensive scoring on the handle provides secure retention with any grip. There's an unusual amount of grooving on the back of the blade, as well.The button lock is well executed with no blade play in the open position. Button locks like this are probably the easiest of all to operate yet unlikely to release by accident. The flipper really snaps the blade open with authority. Lastly, the deep-pocket clip is non-magnetic so it's probably titanium and not the heavier stainless steel.This is an eminently handy knife for EDC which will should stand up to hard use for a long time.

The media could not be loaded. Thought this would be the perfect edc knife, but disappointed with a couple things. There’s a slight bit of blade wobble. Had to tighten it up a bit, but can’t go too far or the blade won’t open quick enough. Secondly, the handle material feels a little cheap, plastic-like, and it’s weirdly noisy in your hands (hear video). Other than that, the action is really smooth and satisfying, love the release button, very sharp, solid clip. It’s borderline too big for edc and could be a hair slimmer. Overall 4 stars, could be better for this price range.

Kizer brat has maintained it's sharpness over lots of use. Good quality & light in the pocket.

I use knives for camping, hiking and work around the house. My knife has to cut boxes, plastic and rope. It has to feel secure in my XL hand. This is by far the best folding knife I ever had! If I had to use it in self defense this knife will be the one. It opens fast, the grip, the finger guard.. and yes it cuts! Let's not forget the perfect size and weight! I own Spyderco, Benchmade, and plenty of other but something about the fit on this model separates it from the rest. If Amazon had more I will buy several to give out as gifts. Kizer you got a gem here and will like to see how you make even better if possible. Best Kiser Knife I ever held!

I love the size, feel in hand, and look of this knife. Kizer makes a really quality product. They are always very sharp out of the box, with very smooth opening and closing action.

It’s rare for me to say but I have no real negatives. This knife is in a good blade steel, the g10 internal frame is very ergonomic and unique, the action and lock up are fantastic. I also love the pocket clip and ease of carry (as someone who almost always upgrades clips). It’s great in and out of the pocket and excellent to use. It’s fun to fidget with too! Only possible downside would be its size. I am an average size adult male (pants are 32x32 glove size large) and it’s hardly noticeable for me but it’s definitely what I would consider full size so if you are smaller framed, you might notice it in the pocket.
