I just assembled it. You do not need a power drill. You can assemble with a Phillips screw driver. A screw driver is not included in the packaging. Screw holes on the underside of desk tops are predrilled so it's easier to screw in.

My desk didn't come with instructions, are they available online?

That’s a good question, mine came with written instructions in the box, so I never looked to see if they are online. I know this isn’t much help.
