I have this installed in a VIOFO A229 PRO. When it got hot, as it will attached to a hot windshield, with the sun on it, the unit stopped working and displayed a warning that the card was slow. This only happened once during the 2 weeks I have been using it. It was full sun and close to 100 degrees outside. I did buy this card specifically because they claim it to handle these kind of conditions.

Before purchasing the Viofo A229 Pro, I compared many dashcams online and considered some opinions on YouTube, and I chose something that supports 3 channels with a parking mode, offers the best image quality available at present, and comes from a reputable brand with a solid track record, which is a little expensive side so it gives me confidence. I had also thought of one that could withstand high heat since summer temperatures can soar in California. Considering the parking mode and the need to handle high temperatures, I chose to buy the bundle deal that included the Hardwire Kit and Viofo's original 512 GB SD card. This SD card is amazing—it can handle extreme heat and has a huge capacity, which so far seems more than enough for my needs. I thought it was a pretty good deal considering what it offered. Overall, I highly recommend Viofo, especially because of its excellent customer support system, as noted in other people's reviews as well. They have a dedicated portal that makes it easy to ask questions or place orders, and they respond quickly to emails. I have used up the included stickers by testing them in many places in my car, so I had to replace it with another strong sticker I had at home, but it melted and came off in the heat. But the original stickers that came with A229 don't melt in the heat. So I contacted customer service, and they provided me multiple replacement stickers, including static stickers, for free, only charging me $5 for shipping. Thank you so much!!!

I purchased this VIOFO 128GB Industrial Grade microSD Card for my new VIOFO dash cam. It captures great video quality, has plenty of storage capacity and doesn't miss a beat. The camera over writes previous video. CAUTION: It's called micro for a reason. It's tiny. Smaller than a dime. If I need to download a video, I unplug the power cable from the camera and then remove the micro SD card while holding it over a table or desk. If I were to fumble around inside the card trying to remove the card and drop it, who knows if I'd ever find it!

I tried a non 'industrial grade' card from SanDisk and it was very hit-and-miss on whether my Viofo dashcams recorded to it or to the SSD I preferred to use; the camera did not operate in a stable way. Then I found this Viofo-branded and recommended card that was far cheaper on Amazon than it was direct from Viofo and even cheaper than the SanDisk card. Result: stable camera operation and reliable recording to the SSD as I specified, with the Viofo card as a drive if I wished and also carrying the system software. I had similar issues with cables and realised that the best action was to use Viofo's accessories with its camera systems. This card is good value for money and ensures that these great dashcams work perfectly.
