I love watching birds, unfortunately the squirrels got to them and destroyed it in an instant. I would say is definitely for very small birds, and the appearance of the item is ok, after all it does go on a tree, so it is not necessary for it to be flashy lol.

So excited to stain these and put them in my garden. I feel that they are a perfect size to place around for the birds to be able to help keep my garden in a good spot with bugs. I live in the country have several birdfeeders, but I really do like these.
