Stainless Steel Electric Tap, 220V Instant Hot Water Heater Tap for Bathroom, Tankless Electric Heating Faucet with Digital Display (Black)

I reviewed a Briwellna electric instant hot water tap (IHWT) for an Amazon Vine review, which I fitted in our kitchen. Our kitchen hot water pipes were 50 years old and needed replacing. Hot water ran so slowly , if you turned the hot tap on you could go and have a shower and come back to the kitchen sink with only half bowl of water and the tap still running. The IHWT resolved this problem and it is great for our situation. It so good that it gave use an opportunity - so I ordered another one. Let me explain. We are in the middle of major building project and need to replace the whole roof so we can add an upstairs onto our bungalow. Our water tanks are in the roof void and they need to come out so the roof trusses can be replaced. The tanks only supplied water to the Kitchen sink (which is now a IHWT) and the bathroom wash basin. The new IHWT in the kitchen provides instant hot water up to about 43degC. Works perfectly only heating the water you need, not a tank full at a time. Part of our building works also means that the original bathroom is being demolished, so we need to put a temporary bathroom on the other side of the building. This IHWT mean that only a cold water supply is needed. The positives are only cold water supply required, only heating the water you are using. The negatives are it's not the nicest looking bathroom tap being three time bigger that a standard basin mixer tap and it needs an electric supply. The electric supply for me is easy as that my trade. This type of instant hot water tap is not be suitable for everyone because you have to switch between hot and cold running to get the basin of water at the preferred temperature. But in our situation its perfect. What I will say is these IHWT's work perfectly for providing hot water instantly.

I wanted to use this in the en-suite but it’s a little big for that. So I put it in the garage on a little sink. You only need a cold water supply and a 13A socket so it’s really good. No more going into the house to wash dirty hands from the garden.

Used in a bathroom were we have low hot water pressure.

Let me know how to return a faulty item. Worked well and then just stopped heating. 5stars before fault.

Good value hot water tap. It was very straightforward to install and it works really well, water heats up so quickly. The tap looks great and it looks much more expensive than it is.

We have limited space under the sink, so this was the perfect solution. The water gets the right temperature for anything that needs to be done in a bathroom sink. The only thing I had to get used to, is that the water is warmer when you start on the warm setting. It's because the more water flows through it the less heat gets generated. I am very satisfied with the unit.

Non è un cattivo prodotto ma deve essere utilizzato con cognizione di causa in quanto il consuma davvero tanto, aumentando di conseguenza i costi in bolletta. Inoltre la presenza di un cavo di alimentazione della resistenza utilizzata per il processo di riscaldamento dell'acqua proprio accanto il rubinetto non lo rende proprio un prodotto del quale fidarmi al 100 % e che quindi deve essere posto in un ambiente comunque controllato. Resta comunque efficace e comodo se utilizzato in un ambiente dove non è possibile nessun alternativa per la produzione di acqua calda.

L'idea è molto carina, un rubinetto smart con indicatore di temperatura e resistenza interna per riscaldare l'acqua, allora è un bell'articolo ma come ben vedete dalle due foto ha una presa a 220v che andrebbe inserita in una normale presa di corrente, il che livello di sicurezza non mi piace mica, significa avere una presa alimentata accanto a l'acqua, punto numero due, avete due solo ingresso di 'acqua, quasi tutti rubinetti classici hanno due tubi dell'acqua, quindi dovrete per forza tappare l'ingresso acqua calda e lasciare il tubo scollegato, poi devo dire che a conti fatti fa aumentare un bel pò i consumi in bolletta, la presa assorbe un bel pò ed è insensata se avete a casa già un sistema di riscaldamento. Di design invece è bellissimo, niente da dire il colore nero col rosso è stupendo, ma come dicevo, non molto sensata nel mio caso
