I had tried 2 different brand nail grinders and they were junk! I returned them within a few days. So I was very pleasantly surprised with the very high quality and performance of this manufacturer's products. The clippers are sharp and clip very well. The grinder is very smooth & quiet but really powerful. It grinds the nails down in about 10 seconds per nail on my German Shepherd with medium sized nails. You can actually see the ground nail dust flying off the wheel. As you can see, my GSD shows no discomfort, pain or fear. Many dogs will be nervous with a grinder. Don't immediately give up and return the grinder. Have a bag of small treats. Turn the grinder on and hold it near their ear and give treats to calm & distract them. Then turn the grinder on (with cap on) and touch their feet so they feel the gentle vibrations and reward wih treats. Then slide the running grinder up the outside of their legs rewarding & distract them with treats. If that goes well with the grinder running (cap on) I would slide it over their whole body EXCEPT for their head. The vibrations on the skull might scare them. Depending how much they relax, you can try grinding a nail. When I first started with Daisy (in video) I gave a very small (meat) treat before and then after each nail so it was about 16 treats. After the 1st couple of times I now give her one treat and then one after each foot and in return as you can see she is calm and cooperative. Also when you 1st start, it's better to take very little off of the nails and do it every few days and when you dog is accepting you can grind down a larger amount. I grind Daily's once a week when I give her a good brushing. To be successful you have to do "baby steps" like i have mentioned above. If you hurt or scare your dog by being too aggressive or impatient in the beginning you will ALWAYS be struggling to clip or grind your dogs nails. You have to realize noise & vibrations are foreign to dogs. If you start slow, your dog will trust you. I just tell Daisy it's "grind nails time" and she jumps on the table and lays down. I know you will really like the quality & performance of this company's product. I almost forgot. I use a nail clipper on my own nails but there is always a rough edge from the clipper. Looking at what it does to Daisy's nails, I decided to try it on mine. I took off the small/medium nail guard and instantly ground smooth the nail edges. A few times I hit my finger tip and as in my video, the grinding wheel is so smooth that it doesn't hurt skin at all. There are two wheels so you can use 1 for your pets and 1 for your family members. Buy this product, you will love it!

Great product! The sound is so quiet yet it grinds the nails quickly! The guards are nice also when my dog moves his legs around. Best nail grinder I’ve used so far! My dog stays much more calm now for nail trims.

This item arrives in a tiny box and you'll think it can't possibly hold all the pieces advertised but they'll all be in there. The grinder is small but powerful. It arrived charged. I had let my dog's nails get overgrown (I really dislike doing nails) but it took them down pretty quickly. The dogs weren't bothered by the sound - it is quiet and my family couldn't hear it form the next room. The nail clippers that come with it are huge and a piece of junk but the grinder itself is nice and I am keeping it. It only comes with a little cloth storage bag but I'm just going to keep it in the box. So glad it's rechargeable - no more batteries! Oh, it works best if you hold it in your right hand - didn't know a grinder could have handedness but I'm a lefty and it goes - the lights are more useful held facing me anyway so I'm not even mad.

Wow! This thing is a lifesaver! I wish I had taken before/after pics. My black & tan coon hound has giant, thick, black nails. He is also a rescue who has never let me do any kind of nail care for him. I’ve dealt with rescues before & know how to slowly acclimate them to nail care. I even used a Dremel grinder on them. But this dog. Not happening. We have tried everything over the past 6 years, including anesthetized clipping at the vet. (Which is too expensive to sustain but worse, he had post-anesthesia psychosis and I never want to see that again!) Yesterday, with the help of gabapentin, a muzzle, a blanket over his head, and my husband holding him, he actually FELL ASLEEP before I was done!!! And the beauty of the grinder is I can trim them much shorter than I can with clippers. I have never been so relieved to finally have a solution to years of drama! And I know he will be able to walk easier & avoid the discomfort of nails getting way too long. I will buy this again over a Dremel any day. It’s lighter & quieter & still just as strong & effective. Works fast. Easy to use. Safe. Love it! Otis Blackwell wouldn’t cooperate for an after pic, either. As you can see. But he gave me his paw when I told him to stay, which I don’t think he has ever done! Miraculous. I can’t wait to shorten them up even further in a couple weeks.

I am always nervous using clippers and have only tried this a handful of times my entire life. These clippers are so comfortable and smooth not sure how to explain it but I give it a 10 out of 10! The grinder is SUPER QUIET and has 2 SPEEDS!! The light is bright and it works really well!! It also comes with a grinder pad installed and 2 extra ones! It also comes with a c type charger cord!! I got this on Black Friday so it was discounted but paying full price for this product, whatever the price is, is worth EVERY PENNY! My dogs were not bothered by the grinder either and I have multiple so I feel like this is “Pet Approved”. 🤣

My little corgi turns into mini-satan when she gets her nails done. I have owned and trained dogs for over 30 years so when I say I've tried it all, I've tried it all. After acclimating her to getting her feet touched at random etc etc etc, I introduced her to the grinder just by putting it on the couch next to her, then giving her peanut butter if she paid any attention to it. Then I'd turn it on with the cap in place and repeat that until she was showing interest in it while it made noise...though to be clear it is VERY quiet. We started our normal routine of evening relaxing on the couch and I brought out the peanut butter and the grinder and she literally sat there, only wiggling a little, and let me do all of her nails. The speed is nice - I prefer the higher speed with the medium coarseness of grinder as it gets a quick grind without too much vibration from the grit on her little footies. It's easy to hold, and the little light is nice. I also like that there are two openings around the grinder head - on the side and on the top - so you can get the perfect angle. Easy to use, super quiet, safe and easy to hold, minimal vibration - loving this little grinder!

Honestly the best dremel I could have chosen for the job! I have 3 dogs, all different breeds and sizes, and this thing tackles all of them with no issue whatsoever. Normally clipping and grinding took me a few hours for everyone, now it takes me about 40 minutes for all 3 dogs to be clipped and ground down. It’s SUPER lightweight and easy to hold in any position needed, the ceramic tip makes grinding so fast and easy, and it fits in your hand perfectly! Only downfall is it builds up dust pet quickly, as do all grinders. It has no burning smell when grinding, just don’t get too close or you’ll breathe in nail dust.

I cannot say enough about this nail grinder, it is a definite game changer. I can't say how many times I've had to replace those sandpaper ones while trying to do my dog's nails. This steel grinder does their nails so quickly and effectively that my only negative is that I didn't get it earlier, it could have saved me a lot of time! The price is incredibly reasonable for such a great upgrade and you get extra heads for it which I haven't even went through the first one yet and I've done their nails several times. I've got two Golden Retrievers and also watch a Fox Terrier, it does the big thick nails and the dainty little ones both equally wonderfully! It is also insanely quiet for a grinder which is another grwat feature! Get it, you will not regret it at all, ever!!
