Missing fasteners on two different units. Missing instructions. Found complete instructions on the line, but WTF. Called customer service. No help at all. Hung up after being pushed to third person. Terrible!

After installing the door closure in my interior door between garage and house, the door would not open or close easily. It takes great force to open, so we have disconnected it and rendered it useless. There are no adjustment options on this unit. I called the 1800 number on the Yale Instructions enclosed with the closure. The technical assistant said they have never heard of the model number that is clearly printed on the instructions. They do not recognize this as a commercial door closer as it is advertising on Amazon. I have passed the return date due to being away and not having time to deal with this. I hope that the seller or Amazon looks into this. Buyer Beware!

Installed pretty good, as Dan mentioned the one I got is not the same as on the instructions, there is no power adjustment. I would like to make it easier to open the door as it is quite stiff. The closing works very well. Don't think the included hardware was meant for a residential steel insulated door. I can see the screws loosing soon, but I already have a plan to use through bolts to keep it attached. Really would like a way to lighten the load needed to open. 1 other thing, when I went to remove the shoe on the rod I had to cut the head of the screw it would not loosen with a screwdriver or an impact driver. So any suggestions on how to adjust the opening pressure would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
