I was honestly a bit skeptical about ordering a mattress online, but after reading all the great reviews, I decided to give the Novilla 12 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress a try—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment it arrived in a compact box, I was impressed. The setup was incredibly easy, and after allowing it to fully expand, I could tell I had made the right choice. I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for a few weeks now, and here’s what I’ve noticed: Comfortable and Cool: I tend to overheat during the night, but this mattress has really helped with that. The gel memory foam stays cool and keeps me from waking up sweaty, which has been a huge improvement. Perfect Firmness: It strikes a great balance between being firm enough to support my back but soft enough to feel cozy. I usually prefer a medium-firm feel, and this mattress is exactly that—supportive without being stiff. Motion Isolation is Fantastic: My partner tosses and turns a lot, but I barely feel it now. It’s made a noticeable difference in my sleep quality, and I’m waking up more rested than ever. Great Value: For the price, I honestly didn’t expect it to be this comfortable. It feels like a much more expensive mattress, and I’m really happy with the quality. If you’re looking for a comfortable, supportive mattress that doesn’t break the bank, I highly recommend giving this one a shot. It’s made such a difference in how well I sleep!

Ok, its only been about a month, and I know this may be too soon for a review, however, so far, this bed has been outstanding. Like you, I have read a zillion reviews on foam mattresses; done in depth research; compared prices; etc. I get it. The market is saturated with so many foam mattresses. SO, why did I pick Novilla? Well, the price attracted me and so did a review from a named column in a NYC magazine that I trust with product reviews. Furthermore, at this price, if the bed isnt to my liking after a few months, I wouldnt feel bad about getting a new bed. Again, with a price THIS low, you still come out ahead. (LIsten, you can have a 5 star meal and pay more than this bed). This queen expanded to about 97% (in one of bottom corners of the mattress, it appears that the foam hasnt expanded to full capacity, but this is so minor and a nothing burger) and so far, it has no sink, slump, or any issues. It is a HARD medium; rather than a MEDIUM hard. I say it this way because you will NOT "sink" into the mattress. But, be not afraid: Its VERY comfortable and it DOES "give" but the support is outstanding. Again, very comfy; very clean; very easy to unfold and expand. Highly recommend using a METAL BOX spring or a flat wood platform. DO NOT use your old box springs made out of wood and coils.

It has been two years since we purchased this mattress. Initially, it was comfortable, but within the first year it began to sag noticeably in the middle on one side. I have existing back issues, so at first I assumed the discomfort was related to my condition and tried to endure it. After several months of increasingly uncomfortable mornings, we started rotating and flipping the mattress to change the wear pattern. Shortly after that, my wife began experiencing back pain and shoulder numbness as well. That’s when it became clear the problem wasn’t our bodies, it was the mattress. It no longer provides proper support and feels poorly constructed for the price. A mattress should not lose its structural integrity after only one year of normal use. This one did, and we’re very disappointed.

The mattress was very easy to set up because all I needed to do was open it up and let it inflate on the bed frame which took around five hours for me. There was also no chemical smell when I first opened it, and no smell appeared since then. When I lay down on my back, it feels nice because it cushions my spine. Sleeping on my side also feels comfortable on this mattress as the memory foam is able to support my bones. The mattress is quite soft, and the foam springs back into place after around three to five seconds. Even when I placed a ten-pound weight on the mattress, the foam returned to normal very quickly. The downside is that if you prefer a very firm mattress, this is not recommended; however, if you like medium firmness (a bed that will not make you sink in and gives you a slight bounce-back), then I recommend this bed. All in all, I recommend this mattress very much as it is very comfortable, and it gives me a good night’s sleep.
