I'm using this to control a kerosene torpedo heater (salamander), and it works great! However, it is rather fragile where the temperature probe plugs in. Make sure you mount it securely to something if you're using it between two extension cords.

who ever made the instructions gave no clues to what key buttons to push the stupid repeated times. only using terms for keys with no record of which keys those terms mean. I suggest anyone looking for such a control look elsewhere for a unit that comes with understandable instructions. this peace of junk shorted out in three days.

We have this unit in our guest house for winter temps. It works great but just wish the temperature cord was a little longer. It works just fine for the purpose we need it for though.

The product works great except that the sensor part is so short. My fault for not checking dimensions. I’ve had to gerry rig a set up to make it usable in my grow tent.

I got this to fine tune temps for Ice dam heat strips. It works. Exactly what I wanted. The menu is a little confusing but you will get the idea.

I bought this for use with Amazon’s branded portable heater as had it set at 60 to keep my basement pipes from freezing. I found it like this after a little over a month of use. Do not buy it.Update: I reached out to the manufacturer since it was after the return window and they have sent me a replacement. I will try it on a low voltage heater and see how that works. But I will not use it unattended to be safe.
