If you are looking for some old school tongs like I was, I think you'll be happy with these. We have tongs in the house but none of them are like the ones I grew up with. Now they are the stamped metal or plastic in the shape of a shell. They aren't all bad but I worry about cutting into my food with that style. We also have some for the grill that have teeth. They work great for steaks but again, not for a hot dog unless you want to make it look like someone pre-chewed it. I wanted some old school tongs that are easy on my weiners and won't scratch up the pan if I'm using them in the kitchen. These tongs fit the bill. I like the more modern handles as they feel nice to use but the business end is exactly what I wanted from the tongs of my childhood.Maybe I think more about my tongs than most people do. Maybe you don't think about tongs enough!Either way if you need some nice tongs that won't cut up your wieners, these are the real deal. Buy a set, you won't be sorry! =)

I was looking for some steel tongs to immediately replace ones I had used before. I got this purely because this was a bundle; this can come in handy. The item itself is good for what you'll need it for. Keep in mind that if you have big hands, they may be uncomfortable to handle. That was an observation that was made from a family member of mine gave me, while I was able to use them just fine (I have petite hands). Other than that, if you need something on the fly, these will work.

These tongs have some lateral slippage, I'm not sure how sturdy they'll be going forward.However, they are fairly good at grasping food items, I'm pretty satisfied with them. They're the best I've seen on Amazon, they clean well soaked overnight in water with detergent. Still not sure how well they'll resist rusting, I'll update later regarding that.

The only down side to these is the very short handle. However, we use tons of tongs, sometimes 3 pairs in a single meal, We scoop out corn on the cob and whole green beans, and use them to push and slide pots off the burner on the stove instead of grabbing a potholder. We flip sausages on the stove or the grill. Pull slices of bread out of the toaster. Turn steaks without piercing the meat. Rotate shish-kebobs. Move vegetables around on the grill.

I just received these,and have only use a few times. They performed well, length and tongs are fine. My only complaint is I wish they had a larger hole, or at lease a thumb hole. A bit tight on my thumb, so hard to grip and release. Looked to have the holes larger in photo. Probably not a problem for a lady, or smaller handed man. Still am going to use them, just have to work a little bit to place fingers and thumb and not get stuck in holes.

I use these every day for all sorts of things....cooking, getting something out of the back of the cabinet, between car seats. I originally thought i will never use two pair of tongs but they are constantly in the dish washer and in rotation. Very sturdy and wash up great. No rusting and the handles are smooth! Love these. Would have preferred them in blue but that is my personal choice in everything!

These are the best tongs I’ve ever purchased. They are super easy to clean. I have used him even more than I expected to, because I love them so much. I recommend these tongs to anyone who’s thinking about purchasing them. I might even buy some for Christmas gifts. I am so pleased with mine.

Solid pivot point, feels solid when using them. Fits my hand fine but for someone with big hands or "fat fingers" they may be a bit small. Easy clean up in diswasher. Happy with them and the price was good.

The tongs look good but you have to be a little girl to use them as they just fit the tip of my finger there so small definitely not for a guy to use BBQing

Very pleased with this product, delivered on expected date. Have been looking for these stainless steel tongs forever.

The hole to place your fingers & thumb in is too small.
