Perfect Travel Scissors for Knitting Enthusiasts
I adore these scissors for my travels, especially when bringing along my knitting projects on flights. While they are incredibly sharp and perfect for cutting acrylic yarn, my only minor issue is the difficulty in closing them. To avoid straining my fingers, I simply leave them open at home, as other scissors I've tried just don't compare in quality.

Compact Folding Design Perfect for Travel Crafting
This nifty item boasts a compact size that folds up effortlessly, making it a breeze to pack for travel. However, it does present a minor inconvenience as it can be a tad tricky to unfold. During a recent flight, I brought this along for some crafting and was pleased that it raised no red flags at security. Its convenient size and portability make it a handy companion for on-the-go creativity, despite the small hiccup in unfolding.

Great scissors for yarn projects
I only use these scissors for traveling since I love to take my knitting with my while on the plane. My only gripe is, that it's entirely difficult to close them. I just keep them open when I'm at home because my fingers hurt trying to close the darn things. They are sharp enough to cut acrylic yarn since I tried different scissors that just doesn't do any justice.

Perfect for purse
Nice little scissors to carry in may purse. They often come in handy, and Fiskars brand can't be beat.

Convenient and durable
I haven’t been able to figure out how to fold them, however I don’t think I need to as they are small enough.

Quality seems lacking
I thought FISKARS was quality, but these not so much. I'm concerned about the plastic handles. And when folded it doesn't quite fit together correctly. I ordered a replacement already of all stainless... of another brand.

Not what I expect from FISKARS
I should have checked other reviews before buying these. Arthritis and EDS make it difficult to open packages. Unfortunately these are sticky enough to open that the grip strength required is often comparable to what I need to open whatever I’d be cutting open with these, defeating the purpose. For things I truly can’t open without scissors, these aren’t sturdy enough to do the job smoothly. Once opened they’re okay, as long as I’m not cutting into something like a hard plastic package. If I’m just going to leave them unfolded, though, I have sturdier and more comfortable options for everyday carry. I appreciate that they fold up so small and are TSA approved. That’s really the only reason I continue to carry them. I own a lot of Fiskars products, to the point that I automatically trust the brand to be higher quality and more ergonomic than whatever is on the shelf next to them. I’ve always felt paying a bit more for fiskars products was worth it in the long run. These folding scissors are the only exception to that decades long trend. I’ve gotten better use out of a $3 pair of generic flower cutting scissors; I’m just not sure I’d be able to bring those on a plane or into a hospital or court. I feel like FISKARS could make a better version of these with much smoother unfolding and more comfortable action. I’d buy those in a heartbeat.
