Very good quality. Stove top boil for 20-25mins (from cold water) is all it takes to get soft and tender. No need to use a pressure cooker. It tasted good as a puree as well.

If you enjoy growing your own sprouts, these are great quality lentils. I prefer them to green lentils, they are smaller, softer and have a mild flavor.

Used these to make a black lentil bolognese sauce. Worked perfectly. The sauce was delicious with the lentils breaking down so as not to be too hard or too soft.
