Q: Why did I get only 32 packets when I ordered 40. and the bag was dirty and opened?

I got all 40 packs, and they were in a clean Ziploc bag. They are handy for low sugar

Our three packs are listed on Amazon also but to let you know, they are all sanitary as they are sealed in their own pouch before they are bagged into larger quantities.

Yes one can find the Glucose Gel packets on Amazon. For my situation having a daughter who is a Type A Brittle Diabetic and in home Dialysis patient. I learned of these life savers from the EMT folks who would arrive to assist us in getting my daughter out of critical blood sugar drops below 35. They carried these packets and we asked where did they get them. Once I discovered Amazon has them we have purchased them in different quantities for over 4 years now. These packets work better than any other intervention thus far. They are reasonably priced and come in different flavors as well. The foil packets are strong but easily opened as there is a slight notched area just below the top that allows a smooth quick opening. Well worth the time and effort to have on hand.

In the past it was offered as a single flavor but for quite a while it has been the combination. Maybe if you contact the Transcend company you would be able to get the single flavors directly from them. Personally, I like the 2 flavors. It is nice to have a change on and off . but, I suggest contacting the Transcend people if you want a special order. Good luck, I am a Type 1 Brittle, body makes no insulin, 79 yrs. old and diagnosed only 11 years ago. If I didn't have this product I would have been dead years ago. Good Luck. Fran Morrison
