Easy!! Quick set up. Plug and play!
My first attempt at a large scale home Ethernet set up. I had to run all new cat 6 cables through a fully finished house, a job on its own! Purchased this switch to be the main hub of my system for the ability to provide POE to a few cameras that were to be installed at the same time. Got everything wired in. Plugged in. Connected the router into the unit and everything just .. worked.. I was pleasantly surprised it was so plug and play. Have the ability now to hardwire into each room of my house as well as power what ever devices over POE I need. Plenty of room for expansion. The unit does have a bit of a fan noise, but barely noticable due to it's location in an upstairs central closet. Would easily recommend this to anyone looking for a network switch to set up a home or small business wired network. I am more than happy!!

Excellent switch for price / performance
Sold a lot of TPLink POE Switches over the last few years under my previous employer.Under my previous employer, we have set them up on larger network where it was mostly populated by POE Phones and WAP's.Never seen one die after 5+ years of constant use.Excellent product to my experience.TPLink rackmountable hardware is extremely durable.

Perfect for our home network
There is still a need for wired devices in a home network. This device has plenty of capacity and the POE function works great!~P.

Great home switch!
I'd been wanting to build up a network rack at home with some good hardware, knowing that I plan to get PoE cameras at some point I wanted a switch that could power them and found that with PoE splitters I could power much more, ONT, router, Hue Bridge, current Nest Cameras.Managed is a must with my setup, I have the ONT to router WAN network routed through the switch on a separate VLAN so that they could use the PoE too.SFP ports are good, I'll be removing a TP-Link ethernet/fiber bridge on the house side and using the SFP port for the fiber going across the property to the detached garage. And I'll be able to run 2 ports over that fiber to the garage so I can have a dedicated lead for whatever reason out there, maybe I'll have the NAS setup to mirror to a second NAS out there as fire backup.

Smart Home Powerhouse
I slowly worked up this size switch. Once I hooked it up everything worked great.
