I wanted a sturdy phone that is also not irritatingly slow. This one ticks all the boxes: well built, incredibly strong (already dropped it a couple of times), as fast as any decent Android phone. It runs on Android One - not the usual bloated version that other manufacturers supply. And its waterproof! Seriously, it even functions underwater - well, I swiped through the apps (I couldn't actually speak to anybody). 3 year warranty and Android updates, 4 years of security updates and 1 year guarantee on the screen itself!

Sono una fan della Nokia, sempre avuto cellulari Nokia. Quando ho scoperto questo modello rugged uscito a giugno 2023 l'ho subito acquistato e usato in mare, sotto il sole, sulla sabbia, poi in autunno sotto la pioggia e sulla neve. Lavato più volte per togliere creme solari e sporcizia. Insomma l'ho utilizzato secondo quello che le sue specifiche gli permetterebbero. Avevo solo notato mal funzionamento dell' audio dell' assistente Google e degli altoparlanti da bagnati, ma la seconda cosa è naturale. Dopo 6 mesi dall' acquisto e dopo una camminata sotto la pioggia, naturalmente senza ombrello, il display dopo circa un ora si è velato e poi son comparse righe verticali colorate( vedi foto). Il telefono continuava cmq a funzionare normalmente, il display era andato... Nel frattempo ne avevo regalato uno anche a mio marito e dopo averlo lavato sotto il rubinetto ha avuto lo stesso problema(vedi foto, il mio pine il suo black). Testardamente e anche sentendomi "persa" ho ordinato un altro XR21 direttamente sul sito Nokia (Hmd) pensando che il mio fosse difettoso e cmq senza display funzionante non potevo accedere ad Amazon e i tempi di consegna erano troppo lunghi. Adesso sto usando il secondo acquistato. Per mio marito ho ordinato un xr20 che è il modello precedente, sperando che sia l'Xr21...nato male! Ho sempre avuto fiducia in Nokia e mi sembra incredibile che abbiano messo sul mercato un cellulare simile!!! Oltretutto in rete non vi sono recensioni o giudizi negativi, a parte quello di un utente di Amazon tedesco a cui è successa la stessa cosa col display che è successa ai cellulari acquistati da me. Forse la Nokia non si è resa conto ancora dell' accaduto, dovrebbe ritirare il modello dal mercato. Ora vedrò sulla pelle di mio marito!, come funziona l'Xr20 pensando poi di acquistarlo anche per me.... Però non si può acquistare un rugged Nokia e vivere con l'ansia di non poterlo usare come deve essere usato!!! Ho scritto anche alla Nokia ma non ho avuto risposta se non una automatica. Svegliatevi prima che i cinesi vi freghino del tutto il mercato!!!!!! P.s.: ma forse anche i cellulari Nokia sono ora costruiti in Cina?! Però sembra che quelli Xiaomi funzionino....

Glue holding phone screen in completely fell apart after less than a year (no trauma causing it; literally just came loose and completely fell off after day later). Contacted seller multiple times about the 3 year warranty to see about repairs on what is clearly a manufacturer defect (I’ve never even heard of a glued in screen coming out, especially on a phone so young) with 0 response after a full week.
