Great Gas Alternative With A Few Considerations
This is a nice mower. It's lightweight, folds up into a compact vertical position, and it accomplishes the job. Starting is instant and so much easier than pulling a gas motor's string. There are no flammable materials to store, oil to change, or spark plugs to replace. That is great for those who don't want to store gasoline on the property. It also avoids messy and toxic oil changes. Also, according to some sources, gas mowers emit more air pollution than cars. Gas mowers generally can't be stored in a vertical position that saves a lot of space. Also, gas mowers usually become progressively harder to start as the years roll by. They require much more maintenance. By contrast, this mower is likely to start right up, year after year with none of those issues. Quick releases are used on the handle, which makes it a breeze to fold up or adjust height and position. You can choose an almost infinite degree of angle and height for the handle, and the handle is quite long, making the mower extremely easy to maneuver with superior leverage. It cuts efficiently, even with the mulching plug installed, though it will struggle a bit with high and thick grass, same as all but the most powerful motors. The grass catching bag is a little on the small side, but that's acceptable for an electric mower that people primarily use for smaller lawns. There is a two year limited warranty and a ninety day component warranty according to the owners manual. This is a corded mower; that should be abundantly obvious to anyone reading the product page. But here are the TWO MOST IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS before purchasing: The mower is rated 15 amps. Do you have a robust enough circuit to not blow a fuse or trip the circuit breaker? According to a table provided in the owners manual, you need at least a 12 gauge power cord if it is fifty feet long, and 100 foot cords are not recommended. Fifty foot 12 gauge cords aren't dirt cheap. As long as those two considerations are okay, then I would heartily recommend this mower.

Gets the job done… but that cord….
I have a small fenced in area in my yard that is for entertaining and for my small dogs to be separate from the big one. The yard company cuts the grass at a consistent level; unfortunately, it is still to long for my smallest dog (she is only 3 pounds). This mower is perfect for cutting that area short enough for her. The lawnmower cuts very cleanly, and the large height adjustment handle/lever makes adjusting the blade height a breeze. The bag collected the clippings and left very little on the ground. It did bog down when I ran it through slightly longer grass, and when I lowered it to the third lowest setting, it would not cut at all. In the photo (not the video) you can see the grass is cut only slightly shorter than what I eventually cut it. But it took five times starting the mower and slowly lowing it to get it to cut that small area. Cutting grass with a cord is also a major pain the keister. Turning it on is a bit of a pain too. You have to find the yellow button on the side of the handle, then pull the lever (on the handle) while pushing the yellow button. Not overly complicated, but it would be easier if the button were on top so you could push it with your thumb. Pro: Good quality. Comfortable to use. Easy to operate, out of the box. It cuts the grass cleanly and bags it very well. Con. Under-powered. The cord is a pain. Turning it on is a bit of a pain. My Take: I would use this, BUT I would trade it instantly for an equivalent battery powered unit. Info: As a Vine reviewer, I realize how important my reviews are to consumers. I too rely on reviews in making my purchasing decisions. As such, I want to provide a valuable service to those considering purchasing the products I review. Also, since I must pay taxes on the retail value of the products I receive (in my case, about 40%—broken down as 15.3% in SS/Med taxes, and 25% Fed. Income taxes), I endeavor to provide an honest review of every item I receive. FYI, my stars are valued as follows: 1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. 2 Stars: Do not buy. Not as bad as a 1 Star, but it still has major downsides. 3 Stars: Buy if you can’t find an alternative. There are some issues that need worked out. 4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations. 5 Stars: I love this product.

Nice mower for small areas
We got this mower to take care of our seasonal camp site. It's a larger site but still pretty small area. The mower is really nice and looks great, it's a little louder than over heard from other electric mowers but still pretty quite. It's got plenty of power to cut through trailer grass and the height adjustment is pretty easy to use. One quick word of advice, remember that you have to press the button on the right side below you pull the handle back. It will not turn on if you don't push the button first. I like that you can easily fold the mower up for storage and you can choose to mulch or bag. Overall if you're looking for doing a small area this is a great little mower and it's been working really well with never having to worry about oil changes or gas it's a perfect little machine.

Electric lawn mower
The cut is nice and the bagging addition is great. The facted that you need to plug it in is a HUGE pitfall as are the fact that the motor struggles in tall or even grass with a small amount of dampness to it. It is easy to start, push and use to mow but, you have to be very careful of where you are mowing at all times. 3 out of 5 stars, I can see this being useful for a few but, a detriment to most. Find a rechargeable or another type of mower unless you have a really small area to mow with this. I do not recommend.

ITS WIRED ELECTRIC, NOT BATTERY POWERED SO NO WHERE NEAR PORTABLE!
I dont know where to even begin my disappointment but the Yard Force 19-inch "Electric" Lawn Mower claims to be electric, but in reality, it is only electric in the sense that it requires a wired connection for power. This is extremely deceptive and misleading to consumers. Imagine the inconvenience and safety concerns of having to maneuver your way around a long 120v wire while mowing your lawn. What if you accidentally ran over it? It's a recipe for disaster and a clear safety hazard. Furthermore, it's puzzling to think who would even consider purchasing such a mower. The limited mobility and dependence on a wired connection make it impractical for anyone with a yard larger than a postage stamp. It seems to cater exclusively to people with tiny yards, leaving those with more substantial outdoor spaces out in the cold.

Know what you're getting, and this will fulfill expectations
Having used a corded mower before, I was quite aware of the major drawback, that is the cord itself. At the same time, if you've an area that is convenient for the length of the cord, say 50 or 100', it will always be ready to go, provided you've paid the power bill. It will run significantly quieter than a gas mower, which is nice. It will also cut with decent strength. It's not the chop heavy wood cutting of a gas powered mower, but will tackle even all but the thickest grass with aplomb. It's super easy to put together, which also makes it easy to store if you need to unfold the handle, such as sliding under and into a tight squeeze. It also has nice grass management options on-board, and with some of the smaller plots of land in which these are often used, this is a very nice feature. It moves smoothly, glides along well and is not overly heavy. It has enough weight to hold to the ground well, but can easily traverse stairs. In my case, I have to store this in a walk-down basement, so this is quite convenient. Overall, this is simply a very nice electric, corded mower. Only nice things to say.

Great electric beast
She can tackle low to med grass and even some damp grass with ease. The tall grass best to being down in stages. Right out the box she went to work. Plug her in and push small button on side and pull the bar and you ready to roll. It a push mower so plan the route you want to take and keep moving. Great for small patches those big yards she'll do but it's gonna be painful lol. We got this for grandma's small side yard cause my ride ok wouldn't fit. For an electric old school Corded unit she is well made don't feel it will rust and she has the power for that application. Now grandma's happy I'm happy and never have to run for gas at grams house. Can You Manage a Cord?
I have a gas-powered lawnmower that's a few years old. It's been serviced twice and still doesn't run decently. So, rather than throw more money at it, I decided to try something really different. There are two kinds of electric lawnmowers - battery and corded. Battery mowers are heavier (you need to push the battery around), and batteries have a finite life. Corded mowers are light and reasonably powerful, as well as much less expensive - but you have to deal with a cord. This mower is very simple to assemble. All that has to be done is the attachment of the handle, using large plastic quick-release handles (if you have a bicycle with quick-release hub skewers, you'll feel right at home). Many of the parts on the mower are plastic, but they seem strong enough for what they need to do, and they help keep the weight down. Being so light, it's really easy to push. The moter is rated at 15A, so you need an extension cord with that rating (typically 12 ga.). The manual recommends a maximum cord length of 50 ft. If you adhere to this, you'll only be able to mow a small lawn. I've used a 100 ft. cord (that has the proper current rating) without any problem on my typical suburban-sized yard. The motor is powerful enough to mow relatively thick and wet grass, either mulching or bagging, but it certainly wouldn't handle deep brush the way a gas mower could. Whether you like using this mower or not will depend on where you use it, as well as on your attitude toward cord management. If your yard has a lot of trees and other obstacles, cords can be a hassle. Before buying, I'd recommend you watch some of the videos on YouTube about using corded mowers. I have a yard with not too many obstacles, and my home has outdoor outlets in several locations. Despite that, the first time I used it, I found it a bit awkward. But after a little practice, I developed a good cord-management strategy, and it got a lot easier. For now, I'm happy not dealing with either a gas motor or charging batteries. But a corded mower is not for everyone.
