ProSkin SebDerm is ideal for relieving the symptoms associated with seborrheic dermatitis. Studies have shown that it is extremely effective at relieving skin scales, oily skin, itching, inflammation and all other symptoms associated with seborrheic dermatitis. It can be applied to both skin and scalp areas (adult cradle cap) It can reverse hair loss caused by seborrheic dermatitis. It is an extremely effective natural skin care treatment that contains Jojoba oil together with a unique blend of essential oils that treats the root cause of seborrheic dermatitis as well as the symptoms.

Seborrheic dermatitis is thought to be caused by a combination of over production of skin oil (sebum) and irritation from a yeast called malessizia and usually occurs on the face and scalp where there is a high number of sebaceous glands. The jojoba oil in our formula effectively treats oily skin and therefore the symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis. It may seem crazy to apply oil to skin that is already oily however since it is similar to your skins natural oils it tricks your sebaceous glands into producing less oil, thereby reducing and regulating oil production. Products that strip the oil from your skin actually encourage your skin to produce more sebum making the seborrheic dermatitis worse. Jojoba oil is an excellent moisturizer that is quickly absorbed into the skin without any greasy effect.

The essential oils in our formula, particularly tea tree oil, effectively eradicate yeast infections such as malessizia (another cause of seborrheic dermatitis) thereby relieving the symptoms.
