Good quality but the 12mm OD size = has a very small (less than 1/4") ID - restricting what could be a great flow rate.
I bought this in 12mm (1/2") thinking it would have a faster flow rate. This is not the case, it is just a thicker wall with a small hole about 7/32" (just under 1/4"). I will make it work but wish I would have gotten the 10mm (5/16") size - as I have 25 feet of that size hose already.But the quality of the bulb itself is very well made and it has an anti-siphon valve that works great.

Works
Put this on my riding mower when the engine suction pump got too weak to pull gas up from the tank by itself. Cheaper than new pump, but I am sure I'll have to replace the engine pump some day-- when I'm richer. In the mean time, this got me through the summer.

How this pump solved my problem
I have a new lawn mower that was hard to start, return one got another new same problem use fuel pump to pump small amount of gas into the a drill spot behind air filter with a piece copper tubing now just put all small amount of in air cleaner the engine start in winter or summer, Use mower in winter to bring fire wood to house. Try new fuel pump would not work, was going to make a pump had order check valve from Amazon to make but found this pump was all I need, have use all last winter and this summer. a few week ago made holder for pump great buy.

A bit soft
The aluminum hose barbs are great but the bulb material is a bit on the soft side and does not create much suction in trying to return to its original shape. I had a heck of a time getting gas up through it and into the engine.

Great Primer Bulb
Installed one on our kicker and one on our main outboard. Both perform much better than the Attwood's we had. We'll see how they hold up over time. Great price and quality.

Very poor quality materials. Failed in use at five months.
Rubber bulb failed in five months. Do not buy.
