Functions as it should. Very loud alarm that can be heard throughout the house. It’s perfect way to help me keep track of my spouse with dementia. No more wandering outside while I’m in another part of house.

Functions well and is very LOUD. Has 2 sound settings..one is too low and one is too loud..but it does serve its purpose. Easy to activate and not too sensitive. ymmv

I've had this device since June 2021. Yes, it has worked amazingly; sometimes too well. If you forget that it's there and open the door, you'll hear the most ear piercing sound😂. There are two different sound levels low and high. Of course mine is set to high. I also have a home alarm system. This is my backup in case I forget to set the alarm. I'm ordering a replacement because I accidentally stepped on this one. Don't hesitate to purchase this because it works and it's inexpensive!!!!

It’s works well with a door that has a lot of space under the door, not able to position it if there is no space between the door and floor!

This works great. I bought this because my young adult daughter travels for work and her safety is very important. She's put this at her hotel door and though she's thankfully never had a bad situation, we've tested it and it's loud and works as stated.

This is a safety device that will not prevent the door from being opened. Other devices exist for that function. This one is based on deterrence. The alarm is very loud, which will scare the thief away, and definitely wake you up. That said, knowledgeable thieves will expect such devices and might try to use a flat prong to push it from underneath the door. I therefore suggest to set it at the highest sensitivity level, which will more likely have it triggered if the thief tries to do so. This is probably not applicable if you stay in a cheap motel where the wall (and door) trembles every time a neighbour shuts his door... You can also use that device with a door-blocking one, for added security and peace of mind. Potential thieves might just choose another door if it gets too complicated for them.
