Tidetell® Elegant Floor Length Bridesmaid Cap Sleeve Prom Evening Dresses

Really one of the best experiences we have ever had ordering a dress online. After we placed the order, Tidetell contacted us by email within an hour. We were asked to provide a long list of specific measurements and then the next day my daughter also decided to have an even, floor length hem rather than the longer train in back. They responded immediately that they would be happy to take care of all of the custom alterations. All of our communications received a fast and courteous response. We selected expedited shipping since we had waited too long to make our order and the estimated arrival was May 3-May 11. The dress arrived by May 1 almost two weeks before the dance! It was a beautiful deep red color (Burgundy) The bodice was not see through at all. The embellishment on the bodice were a combination of glass gems, beads and sequins all sewn on, not glued. Not a single one was lost during the evening (though extras came with the dress, just in case). The fabric didn't wrinkle easily and we didn't have to iron it. The dress was very well made with high quality materials and I was so happy that I didn't have to do any alterations! My daughter loved it because it was beautiful and classy and she received so many compliments. I loved it because it was modest and reasonably priced and it arrived ready to wear! Some tiny little drawbacks: Even with the custom measurements the dress was still a little long so my daughter ended up wearing 3 inch heels instead of 2 inch heels. The fabric of the dress attracts pet hair so maybe put the dress on right before walking out the door or have a lint roller handy to give it a once over. The bodice was a little large so my daughter opted for a padded bra. None of these were major problems or decreased our satisfaction with the dress, but should be noted for full disclosure. Overall, an amazing experience and a great dress!!

I bought this dress for my daughter to wear to prom. She needed to have a black dress and wanted something that was somewhat modest. Most of the dresses we found in stores were cut very low in the front, back or both. She found this dress but I was wary about buying a dress online. We shopped for two weeks before I finally gave up and came back to this one and I am glad I did.The dress looks a little different in person which is to be expected. The embellishments on the top were larger than I expected. There were more rhinestones than sequins or beads. They were firmly attached and none fell off. The dress photographs beautifully. It was longer that we expected so we ended up having to get it altered. To give you an idea, my daughter is 5'2 and wore 4 inch heels and we still had to have it hemmed up about 5 inches. When selecting a size, go by the measurements, not your usual size. My daughter wears between a size 2 and a size 4 and that is what she had been trying on for weeks while we shopped for other dresses but after checking the measurements on this dress we nervously ordered a size 6 and crossed our fingers that it wouldn't be enormous when it arrived. It fit perfectly! I was pleasantly surprised by how the dress flows. It was not as heavy on the bottom as I was afraid it might be.We ordered it only three weeks before prom and we got it with time to spare.Also, I thought it was worth mentioning... This dress photographs beautifully!!

Our seventeen year-old daughter is very happy! We looked all over the Phoenix valley for a modest prom dress for my daughter's first prom. She is petite, dislikes the "club look" and is very fussy about what she wears (typical I suppose). When we failed to find something in a city of over 4.5 million people... we tried to find a dress on the internet. We considered buying a dress on online a little risky because you can't try on the dress, or the seller. What few reviews we found for prom dresses and sites indicated longer than expected delays, size issues and often quality issues. So we went to our “go to” internet seller—Amazon-- and found this Tidetell Elegant Floor Length Bride’s Maid dress. The reviews were all very high. The price was extremely competitive. And we quickly found that the customer service was 100% typical Amazon. We can't say enough positive about our experience. We saw the dress was shipping from China and the turn-around time ranged from 4 to 6 weeks. But that timeframe worked for us, and given Amazon's cancellation, return, etc. policies we placed the order. Immediately we received instructions on how to measure our daughter for a custom fit. They were very easy to follow and thorough. In just over 2 weeks the dress landed in Phoenix from China via expedited shipping. The appliquéd sequined design was sewn well, the dress was fully lined with quality material, the flow from the body was smooth and there was no puckering. It was packaged well and fit perfectly except for the length. We believe this style is meant to flow onto the floor a few inches, but since it was to be used as a prom dress it needed to be a little shorter to accommodate dancing. We had the length altered locally, but it still proved to be an excellent value. As always, great Amazon products and service. We could not have been more pleased.

So the dress quality was fine. Some of the beading was poorly sewn on so I would need to go through and tack down some of the bead work on the bodice. All of the beading made the bodice very heavy. All in all it was good quality for the price. BUT the dress was about 3 sizes too large. We gave the seamstress the size my daughter normally wears along with exact measurements. When the dress came it was huge!! With all of the beading on the bodice, there was no way we could altar it ourselves. I emailed the seller and asked for permission to return the dress. We received an email within a day saying it was ok to return. I had the dress in the mail the next day. After 3 months and multiple emails to the seller I still did not have my refund. I recently contacted Amazon by making a claim. They resolved the issue within two days and have issued us the refund. Moral of the story is that Amazon is fantastic and I will continue to do business with this fabulous online company but I will strongly discourage you from purchasing this dress or anything from this particular company.
