I often buy these types of devices with the expectation that they're cheaply made and marginally effective. Not so with this phone holder. The materials are excellent. Sturdy aluminum arms to hold the phone and plastic for the vent interface…which works perfectly. The portion that interfaces with the vent is a clamping arrangement and once tightened holds everything in place perfectly…rock solid. This is mounted in one of my Porsches, in this case a 2013 991 GT3 and quite honestly looks OEM. Great product!

At least for my Legacy, this thing is pretty sturdy. Since it only has one point of contact, and that contact point is relatively narrow, it does wiggle back and forth a little. However, stability is great and this works a lot better than the friction mounts that tended to fall out eventually if I forgot to periodically slide them back in.So, 5/5 based on it doing exactly what it was designed to do. The little bit of wiggling (a mm or two each way at bumps in the road) is a non-issue.

I received this within two days of ordering, which was two days earlier than what I expected. This is a very nice product. Even the packaging was nice. This doesn’t look like an octopus hanging off your windshield like other phone holders. Very compact, sturdy and easy to assemble. If this fits my 2024 Edge center vents, which are at an angle and thick ‘veins’ that direct the air, this should fit your vehicle with no problem. I would buy again.

The arm holding the phone is not sturdy enough so the phone vibrating when driving. The ring attaching the ball got cracked after a few months. Low quality.

Has a lot of adjustment available for the vent. Seems sturdy and reliable. May or may not fit phones with thick cases, as the holder section is suited for mainly thin cases or no case at all. Overall happy with purchase.

I needed to replace a vent-mounted phone holder and decide to try this one. The build quality is fine, but I have Spigen Tough Armor cases on my phones and they are too thick to use with this holder. Thinner cases or case less are probably going to work, but not this one for me.
