Grandslam Deluxe Shaving Kit for Men, 3 in 1 Shaving Set Includes Shaving Brush, Stainless Steel Shaving Bowl and Razor & Brush Holder, Silver Set

Before I review this shaving stand set, let me just say that I'm a lady shaver & I prefer using an old school "Men's" D.E. single blade safety razor & old school shave soap puck/bowl set up wit either a real badger hair or a real boar hair shaving brush to shave (just my Dad used to). That being said here's my fair & honest review & is a non-gifted, nor sponsored review.This stainless steel shaving stand set in chrome is a very nice & very functional shaving stand. Also, it looks very classy & nice in my corner of the sink vanity. I like that this set includes a shaving brush that matches the bowl & the stand (and all 3 have the GrandSlam CO's logo engraved on them, which I think really kicks the classiness of them up a couple of notches). Although the stand itself is just a wee bit too short for the brush to sit high enough above the soap bowl, so that the brush won't touch the surface of the shave puck as the damp brush is drying in it's "cradle" on the stand (which is why none of my photos show the brush actually in the stand cuz the brush hangs down too close to the top of the shave soap in the bowl). The soap bowl is perfectly sized & (without a full-size 4 oz puck of Henry Cavendish, which molds perfectly into the bowl after heating the puck in the microwave for 10-20 seconds before putting it into the bowl); but once I put my slightly melted HC shave puck into the bowl & set it on the stand, then the brush when placed into the brush holder sits so close to the surface of the puck that I'm afraid it won't give the puck enough breathing room to dry properly between my daily shaves (yes, I honestly do shave every day because I have a facial hair problem & decided to "wet shave like a man & Rock it like a Lady!" cuz I got Class & Sass!)! Until I've used enough of the puck so it sits further down in the bowl, I just sit the bowl beside the stand. I really like that GrandSlam's Founder includes a little instructional booklet in the packaging (I read every word & it was very informative, helpful & interesting, though there was a step in the instructions that was a little confusing due to the way it is worded, most likely a translation error).My Van Der Hagen D.E. butterfly open safety razor (with is short handle) barely sits in the razor holder (and only sits in the razor holder because the bottom of my razor's handle sits right on top of the stand's foot), but doesn't sit perfectly in the razor holder part of the stand; just wish the part that holds the razor could include a way to allow a shorter razor to fit better in the razor cradle (though, I think this stand is intended more for straight razors & long-handled D.E. safety razors as opposed to the shorter handled ones like mine happens to be). Despite those very minor issues, I am very happy with the shaving stand set & absolutely love & adore it. Also, I have gotten a lot of compliments from anyone who happens to see this beautiful & classy shave stand sitting on my bathroom vanity! I definitely & very highly recommend this set to anyone who shaves regardless of their gender cuz it really adds a lovely touch of class to your shaving ensemble & for me personally, it really makes my daily shave a much pleasant because it makes my daily shave feel elegant & luxurious! I'd give this shaving stand set a 10/10b*sigh* but sadly they only allow me to give it 5-stars!P.s. I definitely plan on purchasing this again in the future for my 30-yr old son. Hopefully when I do maybe GrandSlam will have a razor cradle that is Universal enough to properly hold shorter razors.P.p.s. I have a new Adjustable DE razor arriving tomorrow (it looks like it's longer than my Van Der Hagen), so I will come back to update & add a couple of photos of the new razor & my shorter Van Der Hagen sitting in the razor cradle on this stand (so y'all can see the difference in how they each sit in the razor cradle).

The first one arrived broken, but they sent me out a replacement that arrived at the very next day in perfect condition, it looks as good in person as it does in the photos, for a synthetic bristle brush it does feel like it is very good quality, keep in mind this is for a razor with a long handle if you have a medium length or short length razor it will not sit correctly on the stand

Rather cheap and not really needed, but makes my bathroom counter look impeccable.

Brush and stand are great. Bowl on the other hand leaves something to be desired. Paint on the bowl immediately started to chip away. Inside of bowl is almost completely free of paint after a year of use. Only use has been putting shaving cream in bowl and using supplied brush to mix up the water from the brush and cream in bowl.

it is a quality product

Cheap, it fell apart moving it on my counter.The bowl is small, but Ill use it fir my small pucks of viking shave soap.The brush is cheap also, but i can keep it for travel.Over all a waste of 20 bucks.

I'm a wet shaver so this is down my alley.Very good product.
