I bought this hat a couple years ago and have always received plenty of positive comments on it. I work outdoors for my local park system and one of the parks I tend to I met an older fellow who is homeless and a veteran. We struck up a friendship and he was always will to help with small tasks. He would always ask about my hat and ask me where specifically the patch came from and it’s meaning. The truthful answer is I saw it and loved it to. He also told me how his birthday was only 4 days away, so of course I had to get him his own hat. He was the happiest man you would ever see after I gave him his own hat, he wears it everyday. I couldn’t help him in other ways but the hat has put a smile on his face and renewed his faith in that there are still good/caring people in the world.
