Game-changer for my aging dog
My dog is a 12-year-old Cavalier Spaniel and though she's very healthy for her breed, she started showing the symptoms of an age-related neurological disorder. We knew it wasn't going to kill her, but it was obviously causing discomfort -- she was getting clumsier and having episodes of dizziness and leg spasms. She was also losing her normal cheerful nature and becoming lethargic due to her medications. I got her this mushroom powder and within just 2 weeks I noticed some huge, positive changes. It's been about a year of giving her this mushroom powder every day. She's now mentally a lot sharper, less clumsy, and can enjoy her daily walks without the exercise inducing an episode. She improved so much that we were able to cut down on her medications a bit. She's not a picky dog to begin with but she loves the taste of this powder mixed in with her food so much that she's licking the bowl every time we feed her. It's not a miracle cure and she's still an older dog that needs more rest and some medications, but I'm just happy that I found something relatively affordable that can improve the quality of her golden years and minimize the number of strong medications she needs to be on. For a while there I thought she might only have a year or so left, but I'm optimistic now that she's got a few years of happy, pain-free life left in her.

Miracle product for elderly dog with DM symptoms
I started my 13.5 year old German Shepherd on this a week ago. Overall he has aged very well, and has been very healthy, except for the last few months. He has been showing early signs of DM - i.e. gradual loss of control/ paralysis over hind leg. There is a hind leg he tends to drag when walking. Sometimes he stands up, and he positions that leg on knuckles, instead of foot pad. Or he will stand up with his back legs crossed, and i would have to position the legs properly for him, so he does not fall. In DM, the nerves stop communicating with brain, so dog does not know he is putting his foot down improperly or at the wrong place, and that's what my dog has been doing for recent months. He can't get off the floor lot of times because he does not have much control over the hind leg - i have to lift him off the floor 3-4 times a day, and at 80 pounds, he is a big boy, so it's not easy. At first I thought this was mostly aging/ arthritis issues, but these seem to be textbook DM symptoms, and I was very worried. DM has no cure, and the paralysis usually takes one hind leg, then the next, and gradually takes away the dog's mobility and control of organs.Anyway, I started him on this supplement a week ago, not expecting much, but he is showing dramatic improvements already. He is getting off the floor easily by himself now - i don't have to pick him up anymore! He stopped putting that hind leg down on the floor on its knuckles - now he is putting it down properly on its foot pad. No more crossed legs when he gets up either. He is also swaying less when he walks - i.e. has better balance. Our walks are getting longer, because now he does not seem to be in pain or reluctant to keep going when we are out. He has become more playful, and keeps barking at me for attention, or to throw him a ball! Basically, he is almost behaving like he did 4 years ago - and that's just after one week on this supplement. I can't wait to see how he is doing in about a month's time - its just an amazing product.Update - i wanted to update my review, in case its helpful for other dogs with DM. After the first month was over, I was not sure whether to cut down to regular dose or maintain the double dose, given he is a senior dog with all kinds of problems. I noticed when i reduced the dose, he seem to have more mobility problems. So i have maintained generous double doses for him twice a day, and he is doing great. He has had a few bad days when he had diarhia / tummy problems and it wiped him out and he seemed to have no control over either of his hind legs - and i would freak out and think this is the end for him! But as soon as he recovers and regains his appetite and is taking the supplement with the food, he is back walking around on all 4 legs! So i think this supplement is still helping him a great deal - without this, he would have been immobile months ago. I do have to pick him up from the floor time to time - i think my hardwood floors make balance trickier (I use a harness on him to be able to pick him up more easily). But nowadays, he does manage to get up on his own a lot of the times as well, and somehow the nerves connecting the hind legs to the brain are not completely dead any more.

I don't see any difference in my pets
Does this really do anything for the health and well being of my pets? I haven't really noticed much difference in my dogs joint pain or my cats bowel issues and they have had this sprinkled on food for weeks. It tastes like old dirt so not much flavor there. My pets aren't affected by this in any way i can see good or bad but when my cat was sick I forced fed him some of this with critical care cat food and it seemed to perk him up somewhat but that could have been the critical care all on its own. Also maybe a treat form or chew would be a nice option as well.

This stuff works! No more crusty eyes and constipation!
I have been using this for my dog and haven’t even finished the whole can yet and have seen such amazing results, so I wanted to come and write a review because it may help other pets! I originally got this for my 10 year old dog due to his ACL tear. He also has Cushings disease and suffers from chronic constipation to the point I would have to give him laxatives. Well, now he is having no constipation, has regular bowel movements, and isnt bloated. Also, he used to have very crusty eyes, which is linked to issues in the gut. I have noticed that I no longer have to remove crusties out of his eyes because they don’t get crusty anymore!!! He also licks his paws way less! I am amazed and am going to continue using this. You won’t regret it!

Helps with movement
My 12 year Cane Corso has been fortunate to have no real health issues. She’s always been on a non-kibble diet of human grade, nutritious food: meat and veggies, krill oil, etc. But last winter, I noticed her movements had become slow and stiff, especially after she’s been lying down. I researched, then ordered. Within days, she was back to normal, jumping into car, running and playing.

If your pup is a picky eater....
I think the vaule is there. For a 25lb puppy you get 200 servings but my puppy, who is now 6 months, wont eat it. She had broken both of her legs and I wanted to give her every chance possible to have a great outcome. I read the reviews and decided to try it. A month or so later I still cant find anything that will go with it to convince her to eat it! I have tried adding it to her food, adding to beef brother, chicken broth, bone broth(which is very expressive btw), cheese, shedded chicken, shredded beef, EVERYTHING! So if your dog is a pick eater DO NOT GET. As far as how it works I couldn't tell you because she wouldnt eat it and unfortunately my dad had a heart attach about the same time and I was not able to get a refund so that is why I am writing this warning because "recovery" can be a crazy and expensive time and I dont want anyone else to feel like they threw away money
