Ringer on the phone does not ring, It just puts out a real low buzzing sound, unless you’re next to it you would never hear it

The phone ringer has a very annoying sound very reminiscent of the sound you would hear in old movies of operators connecting to exchanges rather than a ring. It can be adjusted louder but it isn't a pleasant sound at all. The receiver has feedback. I would give it 2.5 stars.

Worked well on a dorm hallway wall. Exactly what was needed for a public phone line.
