Nice set
The media could not be loaded. This set is even nicer than I expected. The case is high quality with a nice zipper- it’s great for keeping everything neat and organized. The handles of the brushes are nice - I like the ergonomic design that makes the brush easy to hold even with my arthritic fingers. The variety of brush sizes and bristles is great, and I’m sure I’m equipped to handle variety of painting tasks and techniques. It’s a really nice value for the money.

Shocking brush set
For the money these brushes are amazing and I own high end Princeton brushes and thus set almost seems like the same quality in build and performance. One thing you have to remember you get what you pay for. I purchased a cheap brush set before getting this one and wasted money when I should have got this set in the first place. These brushes are soft and leave no brush marks from what I can see, the sizes are perfect for painting miniatures, figures, and character busts. They hold paint really well, nope perfectly just the right amount. Without dumping the paint all over your model like Niagara falls like some of the cheaper brands tend to do. Super happy with these break or wear out I would definitely get another set. You can't go wrong with this brush set.

Decent
I use these for miniature painting and they are decent, and i would say perfect for beginners just getting into the hobby, as you can learn with these and not worry about ruining a single 20$ brush plus you can practise brush care (make sure to grab some brush soap and conditioner). now for those of you who are intermediate or advanced painters, in terms of quality these are definitely better than cheap synthetics but not as good as my davinci maestro’s. I’d say these are a good for when you need more quality than a synthetic brush but don’t want to use a real kolinsky sable brush, such as base coating small areas, contrasts, metallics etc. The reason it’s 4 stars is because about half of the brushes had stray hairs and i had to use conditioner to make all of them have a decent tip as out of the box they aren’t great. but i think these are a must have unless you have an entire set of proper kolinsky brushes, but they could also be good if you want your disposable brushes to be of much higher quality :)

A nice little brush set for the money
I bought this to paint 6mm to 32mm models. Battlemechs, Dark Angel Terminators, Mantic Enforcers, Silent Death fighters and a whole bunch of other stuff. The brushes are comfortable to hold, take paint well, clean up easy so far and fit securely in their case for storage.

Come back to a point after cleaning
Disclaimers: I'm a lower intermediate painter, I've never used kolinsky sable brushes, and these are *probably* not kolinsky sable, but they are definitely not synthetic. This set was an incredible buy. I bought them a year ago and just finished giving them their first good deep clean. I probably average 2-3 hours of painting a week, and don't take great care of my brushes other than trying to keep paint out of the ferrule. These were pretty caked in paint. I soaked them in isopropyl alcohol, rinsed them, then washed them with Speedball Pink Soap. They all came back to a tip except one! I've had to snip a few loose hairs, but for the price, you really can't go wrong. The case is also very high quality.

Might want to consider another brand
This set is okay for the average to below average modeler but for true fine work, look to another set. The sable is smooth and holds its shape thus far but the hair count is not correct. the 5/0 is more of a 1/0 and it progresses from there. The finish on the shaft is below average but sufficient to hold for a while. One of the brush shafts flaked upon initial inspection but has not done so since. The QA at packaging sent me 2 #5s instead of a #4 and #5 as advertised, but those are rarely used and will be fine for both applications. The case is good quality but the zipper tab disintegrated and I had to use an old key chain in order to use it. Works well as a place holder when working and should last quite a while.Overall, fair set of brushes and as mentioned above, will work well for the average modeler. Don't expect to be painting fine details on your miniatures and you will be fine with this set.
