This is a nice system but the 2 year old in our house likes the cards more than the device yet also tries to put multiple cards into the slot. My opinion is that the volume control should also be hidden away on these...

Received this toy in a nice box which can be used to store the toy and the cards each time after the playing. The toy itself is very good and very useful for educational purpose. I have ordered them for my two year old who doesn’t speak yet. This is great to help them with learning how to speak or at least understand different animals, sounds, fruits, etc. My daughter loves to listen and watch the cards and hopefully is learning too. The cards are so easy to use. Just pop the card in the machine and it will say the name and make a sound. The card reader is charged with the usb included in the box, which is great because I don’t need to worry about buying batteries all the time buy can just charge it. There are total 224 words which is a lot. The cards look nice and are colourful that attracts my child. Highly recommend this especially as a gift. It will be educational plus a fun game to play.

I was going to post a video but others have beaten me to it. This little toy would be good for vocabulary building, good for special needs children and great for learning on the go. Charging is easy using a computer's usb slot. Red for needs charging, and then changes blue when charged. You get a green light when it recognizes the card. There are 4 sets of cards covering family, animal, foods, jobs, shapes, colours etc all items children in their early years should know and understand. Cards slot in and the word is atriculated. Children can repeat the word using the buttons. Nice to have something child friendly that is not a mobile phone. There are lots of similar ones on Amazon but at £7.99 this is one of the cheapest and seems to work in exactly the same way. So even better.

This is really cool lovely gift for any preschool child very compact has 112 double sided cards that you slot in at top of screen its ideal to take anywhere doesn’t need batteries which is a big bonus you just recharge it with a USB cable which it arrives with once turned on a little blue light appears between the two blue buttons it speaks very clearly and tells you what appears on the cards really good value once you hold button in for few seconds on bottom this activates it and it says hello and plays a cute tune then to turn off you just hold in a few seconds and it says I’m going for a rest Bye Bye really fun and very compact would recommend

This is a tactile and interactive educational toy that can be easily taken in the go as it’s so flat and compact and best thing it’s USB rechargeable. To play, slide the playing cards which are double sided and it will pronounce the object on the card in a high pitched voice that will attract little ones. I like how this is a visual and audible toy in one. Easy to operate with volume control and a simple LED indicator light to show power status. It feels very robust and can take a few knocks. My only wish is that the cards could come have with a plastic storage box rather than the playing cards style box due to the number of cards. I’m not convinced the cardboard box will last with little hands and fingers

For the price this item is currently retailing for it has so much to offer! It has 112 uniquely designed double-sided flashcards and a reader. The flashcards have the name written on them and an image which makes it great for visual learning. The sounds are clear and is easy to slip the card in and out. The material the card is made of feels pretty strong so I don't think it will bend too easily. The reader feels a bit flimsy though, I'm unsure how long it will last. Also, it's a bit annoying that it doesn't stay up by itself. All in all, it's a good product and great value for money.
