Nice Darts, Easy To Group, Easy To Hold And Throw, Wish They Came With A Case
I got the "Style 1" version of these darts in a 23 gram weight. I mostly play with soft tip darts when I play because not too many bars around have regular dart boards. For soft tip darts, I got the 18 gram version of these. I figured a step-up of 5 grams would be reasonable for these steel tip darts. Both these steel tip darts and the soft tip darts are quite nice. The barrels are nice and narrow, much more so than the cheaper metal darts often found in bars when you can find one that still has a dartboard.I found these darts easy to hold and throw. The narrow barrels make them easier to group together than the cheap darts a bar may have on hand for their dartboard. They are easy to hold and grip, easy to throw and easy to release. The textures on the barrels were just right for holding the dart but didn't have enough texture to make it difficult to release the darts. This set does come with a few accessories including extra flights and a sharpening accessory. It would have been rally nice if it came with some sort of case. If you're going to sell darts for up to $80 a set, it would be nice if there was even a soft case to store and carry them in.Overall, I thought these were pretty awesome darts. If I had to do it again, I think I might step up to the 25 or even 27 gram version. 23 grams works find but a little extra weight might be nice.

Good tungsten set
High-tungsten darts are good for getting a dart to an ideal weight, while allowing for a thinner barrel than other metals. These Piranhas are very nice. The knurling can help with indexing to where you want to grip the dart on every throw, which can be harder with smooth / non-knurled barrels, depending on how the rest of the barrel shape is.My son and I threw a few rounds with these darts and they performed well. The inclusion of spinning shafts is good, and an extra couple of set of flights and the keychain are nice touches. Personally for sharpening I like an inverted-cone-shape stone rather than something flat like this keychain has, but if you're in the middle of a set and you feel a burr on a point then flat stone is better than no stone, definitely something good to have in the dart case.If you know your ideal dart weight then the Pirahna folks give you a lot of choices. These are good darts, shoot well!

Professional Level Darts
Piranha Steel Tip Darts are the next level of darts for those of us playing on a regular team. I chose the 24-gram darts, which is a good medium weight for me. The short metal shaft benefits from adding O-rings (not included) to keep the thread tight during play. Some features I like:– The "Style 2" barrels have a slight indent for those who like to grip the dart further back. The indent guides the hand to a consistent place from one throw to the next.– The flights on Piranha darts spin independently of the shaft, this action allows a second dart to land close to the first as the flight spins away to give it room.– The barrel is thin giving the dart a streamlined flight. The barrel has deep knurling for grip.I find the Piranhas very comfortable in my hands and consistent in their flight path.

Nice set of darts
The Dart World Piranha 23g steel tipped darts are great darts. They are light and well balanced. They throw true with very little correction needed. The tips are very sharp and easily sharpened when they dull. I have another DW (VEX 90) set so when I saw this set I wanted to give them a try. My only complaint is mine came already opened with visible rust on the bottle opener/sharpener. Additionally the tips were dulled slightly and there is mild wear on the grips. So, these were used and probably returned, at least that is all I can assume. Despite that bit of deception, the darts themselves are quite nice albeit on the more expensive side. I would definitely recommend these and can state that the durability of my other set gives me high expectations that these Piranha will last for a long time.
