Suitical Recovery Suit Dog, Small Plus, Blue Camouflage

The suit feels well made and soft, although it did not fit my dog comfortably. I planned to use this on my little man after he was castrated and when I tried it on him before the operation all seemed okay. It was a bit tight, but that was to be expected. Fot reference, my dog is a 3kg chihuahua and his back measures 29cm, so I purchased a 3xs.After the surgery however, since the area was swollen and painful, it was far more difficult to get it on him (due to the fasteners going around his bottom area) and I could tell he really wasn't comfortable. The turtle neck design also seemed to distress him, as his throat was very sensitive after the surgery.Ultimately, I purchased a new suit that fastens along the back, which my dog much prefers and finds far more comfortable. I still think the suit is well made and would likely be a great improvement to a cone for most dogs though, it is just unfortunate it didn't work out so well for me and my little one.

Bought this as instead of using the buster collar as much better for my dog. Previously had a smaller version when he was a pup which worked great.Size is very good he's a fairly large dog at 37.5kg so XL fitted just right.Definitely recommend.

This suit was perfect for my dog recovering from a spay and much more comfortable than a cone. The quality seems to be quite good.

This is fantastic, has good stretch snd looks comfy. Most importantly it helps stop my dog from scratching and trying to live at his dermatitis. So is versatile, as can be used for after surgery, or to prevent scratching, licking etc. Actually the best most reasonable priced one on the Web that I have found.

The only thing I don't like is having to pull back for the dog to have a pee, his incision is close to his back legs, so has to have dressings changed everytime he's had a pee, apart from that it's lovely not tight on the neck easy to get on & off. This only suit I could find that fitted him the correct size. Fits perfectly.

Make sure you get the right size in this as my dachshund was able to get hers off when she was alone at night. Luckily she wasn't bothered by her stitches but it could have been a problem.However, saying that it did give me peace of mind that she couldn't just lick her stitches when she wanted so it was still very useful, and i started putting her collar on in the evening.I couldn't tell from the photos, but it's basically like a baby grow, arms and head through the top section and the final section was closed with a flap and some studs.Remember to under the studs when you send them out for a walk!!! I forgot! There is also a stud underneath so you can fasten it up out of the way for when they are peeing, but i suppose it depends how much jumping around they do. We were ok with it just being rolled up.

This product is good quality I haven't used it yet but I bought another one so I can use one and have another spare for my puppy after her surgery
