Cool softcover book. Lots of information, illustrations and pictures

I used to check out the first edition from the local library when I was younger. I loved this book. I was too young to really understand a lot of it (or even care about the parts that I wasn't as in to, like the live action films), but the parts on the Disney parks were just fascinating to me. This was years before I got to visit either WDW or Disneyland, so the images and captions took on a whole new meaning. I have been lucky enough to purchase a first edition (and several updates over the years) and was really excited to see this come out for the 100th a few years ago. Even if you don't read it from cover to cover, I think you will agree that this is a good book to have on your shelf.

A very large and hefty book which not only looks great but is a thoroughly interesting history of the founder. Excellent illustrations and behind the scenes struggles to building the company.

THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION 160 PAGES I LOVE THIS FIRST ONE WHICH HAS A FOLD OUT IN THE FRONT WITH DISNEY CHARACTERS THERE ARE SEVERAL NEWER EDITIONS EACH WITH A LOT MORE PAGES AND A LOT MORE INFORMATION THE NEWEST HAS OVER 500 PAGES GREAT BOOKS FOR DISNEY FANS THIS ONE I THINK IS MY FAVORITE BUT I DO OWN THE 1999 ONE AND PLAN ON GETTING THE NEWEST BUT A LITTLE EXPENSIVE AT THIS TIME OVER 50 DOLLARS

As a book that produces the art of disney (particularly its animation) this book excels! It provides a complete history of Disney art and animation. As an art book however it is quite disappointing. I was expecting the book to explore Disney art, instead it just describes what each film or piece of art is about - something that i found to be very disappointing and underwhelming. The book is still great if your a fan of disney animation, especially considering its size!

This book is awesome for any Disney fan! It is a nice thick and heavy book. The silver box cover is nice quality. It’s the perfect addition to your Disney books! You won’t regret it!

I got this book for my daughter. This is her review: As a lover of anything and everything Disney, I was absolutely in love with this book as soon as I laid my eyes on it. It not only includes hundreds of pages of information, but also features many beautiful pictures from movies, concept art, and more. I could spend hours reading this book, and would highly recommend it to anyone who really loves Walt Disney's work.
