Noisey
This starter is somewhat smaller then stock . Installed easily once you remove your right rear tire. The problem is it makes a weird noise while spining. If I had known it was made in China i might not have ordered it.

Worked but made a loud whining sound.
I installed this in my VW Beetle and it fit as it should have, but when I went to start the car, it made a loud whining sound. Something wasn't meshing. So I removed it and replaced it with a different brand unit and the sound went away.

Nice starter for my old VW!
Nice starter! 1/2 the weight and 1/3 the motor diameter of the old stock starter but has good cranking power.Its a good bargain considering its a new starter.
