Great golf balls, perform well

Theses were bought for someone who took up golf last year. He reckons these are the best golf balls to play with,

For my partner. He hasn't tried them yet but have been recommended by a friend

I have bought hunderds of things on Amazon and have not posted a single review .. I felt compelled to do so today .. I'm 60 in a couple of months and whilst I'm pleased with my length on irons, I've lost distance off the tee with driver .. I had been playing Srixon Z Star for many years and regarded that as a good much for my swing and requirements .. I saw a review on Rick Shiels golf and had a look at the Vice Golf website .. I took the ball selector test and it came up with Vice Pro .. I went ahead and placed an order for, I thought, the Vice Pro, but a dozen Pro Soft balls arrived .. When I looked at that balls characteristics it is for players with slow / medium swing speeds who hit less than 200 yards carry off the tee .. That is not me, I'm medium swing speed and deffo 200+ .. Rather than send them back, I thought I'd give them a go and I was amazed .. I was 250yards off the 1st tee, my longest this year and I've been playing twice a week since lockdown ended for golf .. I was outdriving doglegs as I was hitting so much longer .. I yelled "Get down!" on all the Par 3s .. It's like playing a different game and I will have to give club selection much thought next time .. This ball compresses more as I could see ball marks on my driver whereas I can't with the Z Star .. My ball marks were towards the heel, some way from the middle of my driver, so how far will they go when I start middling it?! .. :-)

These balls are just great, they go the distance and stop on the green, they look good and being matte they stand out from others

I took a chance on these after reading the reviews. I am very impressed from the first drive. Good feel off the club and it seems to get a little more distance. First drive went 250 yards and 240 is usually a big drive for me. It seems to give better results even on mishits. I suspect it might be due to the matte finish gets a grip on the club face. The only down side is the matte finish tends to get dirty so you need to clean the ball a bit more. Well worth it for the results it gives. I have been using the Taylormade Project A ball. Also a three piece ball but I think the Vice pro soft has more distance and better checkup on the greens. I like the neon green color also.Update: Just played "The Harmony Course" in Kissimmee Florida. A Johnie Miller track and really nice BTW. The vice ball continues to impress. I hit many long straight drives and very accurate irons into the greens. Had my best round in over a year with a 77 on a course I never played before. I just ordered 5 dozen direct form Vicegolf.com. Got them for $25 a dozen. A real bargain IMO.

This is the best ball you can buy if you have a slow swing.Been golfing for over 50 years. Best handicap: 3 Current handicap:12.I am truly impressed by the Vice balls. I've played many different brands of golf balls in my lifetime. My favorites were the old Dunlops, they were an English ball and they were a little bit smaller than the American balls, they carried much further. Great in the wind. They had a good feel and action. There's never been anything like them.Until Vice balls. Even though they don't look like the old Dunlops, they play a lot like them.Now that I'm in my 60's my swing speed has slowed considerably, the Vice balls have given me back some of the distance I've lost. I've gained an average of 15 yards with my driver and 8 yards with my irons.I can spin and control these better than any other balls on approach shots.Great around and on the green. Good response on chip shots.A pleasure to putt, come off the putter well with a good sound.Roll true, if you made a good putt, it's going in the hole.I never thought a ball could make this much difference in my game, This one did.It made a 3 stroke difference.Try em, you'll like em.
