Autarky Hypoallergenic Mature Lite Delicious Chicken Dry Dog Food for Senior Dogs, 12 kg

We have used this brand since our dog (a black lab) was a puppy...he is now 14 years old and still out for walks in the fields and woods, still with a spring in his step! We did start with another brand but he had an upset stomach. No such issues with this brand over 14 years. Highly recommended.

I tried this for my 9yr old Doberman after reading good reviews about it. He's been on one of the more expensive brands but his coat was becoming dull and after feeding him Autarky mature lite, the glossiness came back and he likes the food, his stools are firm and he isn't gassy! He has a sensitive tummy so I am always looking for good ingredients. I add one small pouch of chicken wet food on his evening portion of the dry and he has a small potion of dry for breakfast and at lunchtime, I find small and often portions work best. This food suits him and is good value for money, I have ordered more as a regular feed.

My old girl suffers from stomach problems and I have been looking for a suitable senior food for a while but they have all upset her tummy. This brand ticks all the boxes she loves it and Wolfson it down (which she never does). She doesn't fart as much as she dud on her old food and I'm sure her breath isn't as stinky. By far the best bit is her increased energy levels. I have a young dog back. It's an absolute bargain too just just shows you, you don't have to pay a fortune to get good food. Can't recommend enough.

A little thin but good value.

Purchased this as I have 2 senior age dogs and 1 overweight one. I like to feed all my dogs the same food as they tend to swap bowls half way through eating to make sure I am sure that the others arent getting any thing different!! I use this as the majority feed and mix a little wet with it for variation which they like. Dogs are no different to us. We would soon get bored eating the same food every day. Will carry on purchasing this rather than the more expensive Harringtons.

I was recommended this food nearly thirteen years ago by a lady I met. My young Standard Poodle dog had suffered from constant diahorea since we got him and wasn't thriving on eukanuba that my other dogs ate. My boy is nearly fourteen, from the day he started it he's gone from strength to strength, as did my other dogs when I changed. My vet compliments his teeth which are kept tartare free from eating the hard kibble. I have nothing but praise for this product, I've found I only had problems when people gave treats on top, mainly because many contain wheat and unknown ingredients. And I'll say it...you get firm non smelly poos, which from three dogs is a bonus. A cupfull twice a day with access to plenty of water has kept him healthy into old age....great stuff.

I am adding this kibble to a brand designed for Cavaliers which I feed to my cavachon . Tilly is two and a half and has a tendency toward putting on weight since she was spayed. She does get plenty of exercise daily, mostly on the beach or in fields but does get the occasional cheeky treat from her Dad. I looked at the fat content of the other kibble and realised it was quite high so the light autarky brings the average of fat intake down to around 9%. Tilly previously ate the autarky for adults , chicken and rice flavour and was quite happy with that. The kibble of that type is round in shape. The mature light chicken is triangular and slightly larger. However I have noticed that as she is eating she seems to give a satisfying crunch which I wasn't aware of before so I think this must be the new kibble She seems to be thriving on it and I will definitely buy again.

Our pooch has all sorts of problems normally with his food however this stuff is perfect for him.
