Fun and engaging for all ages
The Animal Guess Who game is a blast! It’s easy to set up, the pieces are durable, and the animal characters are colorful and fun. My kids love trying to guess each other’s animals, and it’s a great way to encourage critical thinking and memory skills. Perfect for family game nights or classroom use. Highly recommend for hours of interactive fun!

Guess Who Animal Friends Family Fun
We bought this game for our grandsons remembering all the fun of the original with our own sons. My husband and I wanted to try it out before teaching them how to play a tabletop game. The animal cards, very colorful with almost comical expressions, slip easily into the back slot. And they are double sided - land animals on one side and water animals on the reverse. We played several rounds to remember the feeling of playing the game, then taught our grandsons. Recognizing animal features is a huge hit for the children. As adults we asked a few more thought provoking yes/no questions, such as 'will the animal fit into an aquarium', 'is the animal found at a zoo', 'does the animal have more than 2 legs'. The game is easily stored by folding it up. Well constructed. Sturdy animal cards. Easy to keep track of scores. No batteries. Pure fun interacting with others, a valuable lesson in itself.

A fun twist that sparks learning
We had only played the people version before, but the animal one has truly expanded my little learner’s descriptive language and scientific knowledge in a fun and engaging way.

Animal Iteration is the Absolute BEST Version of this Game!
This animal iteration of Guess Who? is SO MUCH BETTER than the regular version with people (or even the pet version)! First off, the animals are all on one durable two-sided card that you slide in to the player sets, instead of traditional Guess Who? where you have to pop out and put in a bunch of tiny picture cards to each individual window (which then constantly fall out and bend under the rough handling of kids) and often have janky windows which take maneuvering to lie down flat. You also don't have to worry about losing/missing pieces. This version is a hit with all of my kids (ages 6 through 13); since I received it they have literally asked to play a round or two every night. It's also way more educational! Instead of just having kids focus on physical features or asking if your card has glasses or whatever, having animals makes for such a better variety of questions! One side is land animals while the other are animals that live in or around large bodies of water. Really try to challenge your kiddos to ask about more than just what the animal looks like; my kids' current favorite opening question for the sea creature side is "Is your animal warm-blooded?" Sometimes they'll ask a question we have to Google for them so we ALL learn something (even the adults), like "Does your animal attack boats or people?" (Belugas have been known to attack boats, but don't go after people) or "Does your animal have babies not eggs?" (which turned into a fascinating chat about viviparity). My kids have learned not just about the five common classifications of animals, but about where they live ("Could you find them on a safari?"); what they eat; how to tell if an animal is a vertebrate; distinguishing features like fins or the names of specific animal parts ("Is your animal's nose called a 'nose'?"); etc. Seriously, this is hands-down the best game I've gotten for my kids in a long time, and they play with each other and love to play with us parents, too! Literally my only negative is that I wish the player sets/gameboards were a little sturdier (maybe an inverse of how they are now, where the fold is stabilized at the bottom kind of like a phone stand. Right now, if one of the kids is holding it and another kid brushes their set or they jiggle it accidently, some of the windows will flip down and they'll get frustrated trying to figure out which ones should be up. It would also be nicer if the back of the board where the question mark outlines are was a little wider for poking a closed window back up (it's way too small for adult-sized fingers if you're trying to help a younger kiddo play).

Screen time free fun
Durable, easy to use and fun! My daughter (5) picked up how to play very quick. Great for ages 5-adults. There’s a good variety of animals and I love the water and land sides. I do find it a little tricky to snap the two back together for storage and thing it is a little expensive but all in all a great non screen time game!

A Clever Game for Little Thinkers
I picked up the Guess Who Animal Friends game thinking it might be a fun throwback, and it turned out to be a hit with the kids. The gameplay is just like the classic version I remember, asking yes or no questions to narrow down the mystery character, but with a fresh twist. Instead of people, you’re guessing animals, which somehow makes it even more engaging. My niece got really into asking things like “Does it have wings” or “Is it blue,” and watching her logic unfold was half the fun. The double-sided character sheets are a smart touch. One side has land animals, the other water animals, so it doesn’t get stale after a few rounds. The colors are bright and accurate, which makes it easier for kids to spot details and stay focused. There are 48 animals total, which gives plenty of variety without overwhelming younger players. Setup is quick, just snap the sheets into the frame, and the whole thing folds up neatly for travel. We’ve taken it on a road trip and even played it at the airport during a delay. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and doesn’t require batteries or screens, which is a win in my book. The build feels sturdy too. No flimsy hinges or pieces that bend after a few uses. It’s held up well through repeated play and a few accidental drops. For the price, it’s a great value. You get a game that’s simple, portable, and surprisingly good at sparking curiosity. If you’re looking for something easy to learn, fun to play, and durable enough to last beyond the holidays, this one’s a solid pick. Bonus, it’s a great way to sneak in a little learning while everyone’s laughing.
