So far, they are functioning well without sticking.
I bought these on April 2, 2024. Since then, the larger one has been my primary cooking pan. I have made several hamburgers in it. To this point, there has been no sticking of food. I have followed the stainless steel cooking guidelines to the letter, using the Leidenfrost test and then coating with oil before cooking anything and deglazing the pan after cooking.

These pi and are great. But there is a learning curve.
I have used the non stick version of these for many years. They are great. but like with all non stick pans, the coating is failing and I dont love the idea of cooking on plastic (teflon). So I bought these. VERY pleased. Tgey are a bit more difficult to clean than the non stick. There’s a bit if a learning curve to prevent food from sticking. Make sure the the Ian is heated to the right temp before adding food. Oil or butter helps a lot. Made well. Super durable. They heat quickly and evenly. I expect these will last many many years without the coating to fail. Comparable to the All Clad brand but at a fraction of the cost.

Quality set. Stainless has an unwarranted rep with some
Note: This review was accidentally submitted before completion due to a technical issue. If you can now see photos, this is the current and full review.•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••I like this Heckels set. It’s sturdy, dishwasher proof, looks good, and cooks well. Both pans are oven safe, have stay cool riveted handles (stovetop only), and high polished stainless finishes. It heats evenly, even on electric stoves and doesn’t overheat as quickly as our nonstick pans. Both pans are large (10 and 12 inches) so they are multi-person sized rather than individual. We also have tiny skillets that we use for tasks like frying a single egg or a few breakfast sausage links. I strongly suggest adding a smaller pan if this intended as a first or primary set. Cleaning is simple but for me it starts before the food even hits the pan. I coat the pan regardless of what’s being cooked. Yes, that includes greasy meats like bacon and burgers. Part of the reason why many people loath cooking with stainless cookware is because they do so improperly. They don’t use coatings and cook with temps that are too high. This can scorch food and stain the pans. My first priority when using this set is to preserve the cookware integrity. Cooking is actually the second priority. So far, they cook quite nicely and have held up well.I don’t understand why people are so petrified of stainless steel. Everyone in my household unanimously agreed these would be “my” pans because “I” acquired them and they don’t want to deal with the maintenance of stainless pans. No worries. I love having my own pan set, especially since I know how to properly use them and that they will always be available for my use when needed.

inexpensive quality stainless steel pan, first set was not polished
The media could not be loaded. Henckels is well known for their kitchen appliances. While Zwilling pro series are made in Germany with higher quality but has high prices, people can enjoy Henckels’ kitchenware which are mostly made in China but good quality with less money.I am excited to try out Henckels Clad H3 fry pan set. My experience with stainless steel is from my AllClad 5-ply stainless steel set. When I received the Henckels pans, I was disappointed. 10-inch pain has high polish surface but the 12-inch pain was not polished. You can feel the circular tracks made by the machine on the cooking surface. I quickly requested a replacement set.The replace set arrived quickly and both pans have high polish surface this time. Compare to my 5-ply AllClad pans, Henckels pans are as solid as the AllClad pans and weight about the same too. Large handle at the end provided good balance and handling of the pans. I started using the pan right away after a quick warm water wash. The pan heated up fairly quickly under HI setting on my induction stove top. Once it reached the desire temperature, the heat was evenly spread out on the pan. I was able to pan fry an Asian onion pancake without anything stick to the pan. So far both pan works as good as the AllClad 5-ply pans.I have to deduct a star since I was disappointed for a poor QC from a big brand. I am surprised the rough unpolished pan was allowed to ship out from the factory. 4-star

A great addition to my kitchen.
I have had lots of pans from cheap to expensive and at the end of the day, the more expensive ones win out because of quality and not convenience.I think one of the best things I have loved about these pans is how easy they are to clean. I know having non-stick gets you used to having a very easy cleaning experience, but these pans not only heat better than my cheap ones, they clean surprisingly well considering they are not non-stick. It does take a bit more effort, but it is not nearly as bad I expected. Looks almost brand new every time.I also have a few culinary grade pans, but they are huge, the two sizes of the Henckels are perfect for my small range and they just look and feel really nice.If you want to invest in a pair of pans, try these. I think the only downside is that they do not come with lids. Luckily I have one that fits the pan I use the most.

Stainless Steel/Polished Mirror Finish: Heavy, 2-Pack Induction Clad H3 Frying Pan Set, 10 &12"
These are the size of most of our pans (non-stick)-- so we thought we would give them a try. They claim the handles do not heat up, ours did.So much so that we had to use pot holders to hold the pans. These are heavy. That is both a good & a bad thing. Filled with hot food, while trying to carry it to the table/island/sink can be problematic -- you need to use two hands/two pot holders & a trivet. As far as heat distribution, it seems even throughout the pan -- which we like.I thought clean up was a chore with these. It was a "let 'em soak" (using Dawn) scenario.Just due to this, I don't care for the pans. The price of $80 didn't help either.I'll stay with the non-stick.
