In my opinion, Sakura brand is the best
I have yet to have a Gelly Roll not perform great from the start. They are more expensive, but I believe they are worth it. Unfortunately, they do not last the longest. For this reason I use them as accents on my artwork. But they flow really well and I haven't had a problem with them railroading. The BOLD are really juicy and lay down a thick (consistency) line. This particular set features Gold outline, Stardust, Metallic, Moonlight and a couple regular as well. Since they are on cards of 3, you could give them as gifts!

Very nice
I gave this as a gift to a fellow artist. I am familiar with these pens, but had not seen them in this themed set.

Beautiful colors and smooth writing!
I am VERY pleased with them, not only for their use in the various arts and crafts I like to do but especially for writing birthday and other greeting cards! Using these instead of a regular pen makes a greeting card so much nicer and much more personal, too. This is especially true since I have all these beautiful colors to choose from and combine with each other. (Make sure to give them time to dry before folding the card.)

Lovely colors
I have several sets of Jelly roll pens, but these five sets seemed like they would be somewhat different. As I worked with them today, I would think that they will most likely be coming out with more sets (if they haven't already) as some color families were completely ignored such as yellow and orange or some color families have only one color represented. Over 50% of the colors are glittery while less are just regular solid colors. I swatched them out first in my 'new regular' swatch book (as I have filled up two with just showing the color of what comes in different paint, pencil, markers sets, etc.). It has light cream pages and I found that the white doesn't show up on the cream unless you are looking at it from an angle. So I decided to try a black page in the sketch book and found that three of the glittery pens barely showed up on the black. While you can tell that there is some ink there, you can barely tell what color they are. Then I tried the tone tan page and here all the colors showed up without anything fading into the back ground. I would suggest that before you use these pens in a special project, that you test the colors on a scrap of the paper that you will be using to be sure it will show up like you want it to.Each of the five sets have their own set of how they will be. One set has all three pens are glittery, some have two glittery with one solid and some with two solids and one glittery. For making a picture, I would think that you will want to use some other gel pens, or types of markers and other writing instruments to have all the colors and types of pens to get the glitter look that you want. I do like the colors, but I hope that they will come out with more that I can get some of them. I just took a look to see what other pens that they have and it does appear that Sakura does have other gelly roll pens available. There are lots of different sets, but these pens will give you a chance to see what kinds of pens that they are.I appreciate the opportunity to try out these pens . Thank you.

Very neat colors you can’t often buy alone
The colors offered in the 5 packs of 3 pens each are ones I have rarely if ever seen before to buy alone at a craft store. The o ly complaint I have is that most of the pens are opaque not metallic or glitter. Was a little disappointed there, especially since I thought moonlight still mean a little shimmer at least. I was wrong. I would think considerably about the price they are vs the need of them or the desire of them. While I love the Gelly Roll brand, this marketing approach is a little pricy for what they are.

I love these pens!
I have been a fan of Sakura pens since I noted a white one when I needed a white pen to write on a dark envelope with. Upon seeing these online I knew I had to order them. The colors are so beautiful and while they say they are gift pack I have to admit I had to save them all. They are in my work bag and I find that riding in a different color really just brightens my day and makes things easier. I like these role very smoothly and the ink is very consistent. I have absolutely no problems with these pens and plan to continue their use.
