Great on the go and for non screen time moments
Bought these as easter gifts for 3 of our children. I think they are perfect and our kids will truly enjoy them. Great for non screen time and travel.

My grandchildren loved this!
Their parents are reading through the companion book with the boys (8&6) and they immediately began coloring in their new books on Christmas Day and working the puzzles and games. I was actually surprised, since they are boys, that they got so excited about them! I had purchased them thinking they would be good for review and reinforcement but not necessarily thrilling, so we were all pleased.

Nice variety but most worksheets are for much older kids than mine in Junior Church
This is a nice activity book, but most of the worksheets are for kids that are pre-teen or teen. I was disappointed and have only used one or two sheets for my kids, aged 10 and younger. I guess I didn't notice that either no age was given or the age range was not appropriate for us.

Didnt realize it was a bible activity book
So it's on me but didn't realize it was a bible activity book. Which is fine but my kids don't seem to care for it. They still color in it but I've sent it to their great grandmothers for when they go there for visits as she is very much more churchy than us and she can tell them stories from bible about what's in it

Not always the best creative learning
Will keep kids occupied but not great for creativity. I Love the illustrations in The Biggest Bible Storybook so I was excited about this activity book Screech! I could compromise on the coloring sheets, knowing that it is better for kids to draw their own interpretations of things but these are a unique style. BUT, when I see them, the numbered colors are printed right on the illustration! I don't know if you remember what coloring was like, but #1, those numbers are going to show through and ruin their picture and #2, that's barbaric to tell kids which colors they HAVE to use. If they are the kind of kid who wants to drill down on details, they can compare the coloring sheet to the original artwork and figure it out from there. Or they can come up with their own colors. No lives will be lost - unless you let them know how disappointed you are in them for not doing an exact copy. I would not give these coloring pages to my kids unless I wanted to squelch their creativity and learning. For me, I'm whiting out the numbers and then photocopying the corrected pages so they can enjoy them the way they want. Even if they duplicate the colors to be like the originals, I'm ok because that took some investigation and decision making. If they color them purple and pink, that's Good because I know they made their own artistic decision. I repeat - do you remember how much you hated it when you colored and you couldn't cover up something that was printed on the page? If your kids are really young (2,3,4) and would be frustrated, put a spot of color in the section to show what color is indicated. But give them the chance to learn. I'm thinking the long game, not just keeping them quiet. And, I can't say this enough! - white out those printed numbers in the figures. A real artistic child hates those things ruining their picture.
