Left Driver Side Power Seat Switch Replacement for Ford Edge Escape Explorer Fusion Expedition F150, Lincoln & Mercury, Power Seat Adjustment Control Switch, 9L3T-14B709-FAW, 9L3Z-14A701-FB

This unit replaced my failed seat control in my 2015 Ford Escape with ease. I was sceptical at first, but with the help of a YouTube video I did it. Two #20 torque type screws. One front and one back and carefully lifting the panel upwards it's off and the switch is exposed. Undo the knobs and unplug the unit it's almost free. The tricky part is releasing the plastic clips holding the unit in place. Use two flat head screwdrivers and slowly pry one side loose. The other side will come loose on its own.Plug the new unit in, clip it in place, attach the original knobs, put it back in place and reattach the two screws. That easy. If I can do it so can you. This unit makes it very easy.Save yourself $500+ at the Ford garage and do it yourself.

The replacement was exactly what I wanted to replace the non working switch at a much better price then the dealer. I would recommend the seat switch to anyone needing a replacement.

My wife's Ford Explorer driver's seat started acting up. At first you had to jiggle the switch to get the seat back to move. I grabbed my multi-meter and determined the switch had a bad contact. I was surprised how inexpensive these were. Ordered, received the next day,10 minutes later she was back in operation.

Ford dealer charged us $200 to diagnose the problem. $500 to fix, $1000 for two. This was cheap and easy to install and solved the problem. We saved about $940!
