I'm an over the hill mom so of course I'm always looking for products that will help skin on my face stay hydrated, bright, and young(er) looking. This Olay vitamin C and peptide complex certainly helps! The complex is thick and creamy and applies easily. However I do still feel it on my face hours after applying. Ideally it would absorb better into my skin. It also makes my T-zone feel slightly greasy all day after I use it and exacerbates the oily areas of my combo skin. My main concern with face products is that they do not irritate my eyes. This cream passes that test beautifully, and I have no eye or skin irritation at all when I use it. The best thing about Olay products is that they deliver results. I used it daily for about 2 weeks. My skin looks about 50% less red and ashy and feels more soft. It hasn't helped the wrinkles yet but I live on in hope it might. The package came with a trial size of Olay Whip active moisturizer, which absorbs well and feels extremely light on my face and I would use that during the summer for sure.

Olay is a well known brand and I had no idea it was this pricey, but you get what you pay for. This cream has done wonders on my face. I put it on after I shower and sometimes at night too. Makes my face so soft and smooth and I swear it has even helped reduce the dark freckles on my face from sun exposure. My husband has been using it as well and the small jar has been serving us well because a little really does go a long well. Also absorbs really well into the skin. I don't notice a distinct smell either. Will probably have to reorder when this is all finished as the results on our skin seems to be improving. The bonus travel whip is also a nice added value.

So far I like this hydrating and brightening Olay face cream, but I haven’t used it long enough to speak to its efficacy in living up to the claims it makes. It does go on smooth and feels hydrating and clean on my skin, so that’s a great start. Product arrived just as advertised and included a decent sized bonus sample of face whip product, so that was a pleasant surprise! Product comes in an attractive, luxurious looking jar. Packaging says the cream is made without any parabens, phthalates, or synthetic dyes, so feel better about putting on my skin than some other products. Hopefully the Vitamic C and peptide ingredients are taking off the years as I write this😉

I wanted to love this, but my skin didn’t. This made my skin feel very greasy, clogged my pores, and it makes me break out. So disappointed because my mom raved about how awesome this was. I ended up giving her container still half full because my skin had broken out so bad. Also found it an odd choice that a vitamin C serum would be in a container that would expose it to so much air, considering vitamin C stays stable longer when not exposed to air.
