I have it on my office desk and it works perfectly with my space. It's not too small or too big, making a cute addition and relaxing space. Everything was packaged perfectly as well.

The white sand is a nice contrast to the black base and three smooth zen stones and the lotus flower is a nice touch.Cons: The rake is a bit large for such a small unit and you won't have much room if the stones and lotus are on the sand. While for such a miniature garden you wouldn't expect to have much room to rake the sand, the size of the rake really doesn't match the size of the garden. The smooth zen stones are nice, the other stones are mediocre, though you can pick out the nice ones and you won't realistically have the room to place them all anyway and still have adequate area for raking.Additional info: If you have the space, I would suggest going with a slightly larger mini-zen garden so you have adequate room to display the objects and still rake without taking everything out. I saw my colleague has one of those in her office and I thought it was a cool idea. This Zen garden is a different theme than the common ones. It's a panda habitat. How adorable! The details are well made. The components are completely. The bamboo is a little bent out of the package but it as fine once you release it from the bag. I like the green sand. Very soothing relaxing to look at. A great gift for yourself or others.

I've never had a miniature zen garden before. I thought this would be a nice one to start with. The details on the miniature lotus flower bead are awesome!! I've only had the miniature zen garden for a few days, but I'm enjoying it. I'm keeping the metaphors really simple, sand equals water and rocks equal land. I like to think of myself as the wind and using the rake to make waves or to push the water on to the land. I may be going about it wrong, but I believe the point of a zen garden is mindfulness. By creating my own little representation of basic elements, I'm drawn into it and am very mindful of all that I do in this little square. So I consider it successful in that regard.I highly recommend this miniature zen garden!!!

This is such a cute zen garden. The sand looks almost like a green glitter (sans the sparkly), and the color is fantastic in real life. Each design element is well crafted and this can be set up in any format you like. Admittedly, I can't get the sand as smooth as in the product picture, but reorganizing the garden is very relaxing and gives me something to do with my hands while on conference calls.

I love these little Zen gardens and this one tops them all! I love the green sand and the little props (pandas, bamboo trees, rocks) it comes with to make the whole scene that much more realistic!It comes with 2 sand movers, 1 rake and 1 spatula like stick (I believe to make mountains or to move more areas of sand). This I keep in the box it came in because it fits perfectly and makes it more mobile from room to room or different places in my room.Absolutely great product!!

Been wanting to pick up a zen garden for a while but just couldn’t pull the trigger…, then one day I run across something a little different … a panda zen garden.Yep picked it right up and sits on my coffee table to relax my mind and to brush off the day. Helps with my anxiety.I received all the parts and pieces I should have and have been happy with this activity so far.
