Very Nice Notebooks!
I ordered this notebook for making notes as I prepare for an exam. I was looking for narrow spaced lines, but for some reason, they're hand to find in bound notebooks, but this one will do just fine. It's well made, has a nice study spiral and offers many beautiful, vibrant colors covers to choose from (I chose blue). What's also nice are the adhesive tabs that are included to keep subject areas organized. I'll be ordering more of these notebooks in the future. I took a star away, because they were a little more expensive than most, but if I could split the star in half.

High quality paper!!
My pet peeve is when my ink pen bleeds through the paper of my notebooks so I can only use one side. This notebook passed the test with absolutely no ink bleed through at all (tested with both gel pen and fountain pen)!! So that’s already a 5 star notebook for me.It’s also the perfect size and page number for a college class for one semester, so that’s another plus point for me (I take a lot of notes). In any case I highly recommend this notebook - it’s durable and the paper is awesome, and I shall be stocking up in more for the fall!

Not a "hardcover", but decent notebook nonetheless
First of all, I did buy this specific one because of the price point (very good) AND because it had a hard cover. The cover is not remotely hard, it is a flexible piece of plastic. Regardless, I've kept it and used it and it seems sturdy enough. The paper is decently thick and well lined. If you're not looking for a true hardcover spiral bound notebook, then this would be a good choice.

Lotta Space
The cover is not rigid so it can be bent to fit in a back pack. It will hold a lot of ideas, but doesn't have any tabs to separate topics. Those are easy to add if you need them.

Notebook is fine but they sent the wrong color
The notebook is good. I like that it has a spot for the date at the top of each page. However, they sent me the color pink and I ordered purple. That was a bit annoying. I don’t have time to return it, so I guess pink it is.

I wish the paper was white
I think this is a sturdy, very pretty notebook but not worth $16. Quite frankly that is an outrageous price for a notebook that is simply a plain spiral notebook whose cover is a fairly transparent piece of polyvinyl. I do like it, however, I wish they had used a true white paper instead of the cream, almost parchment colored paper they did use. It just reminds me of paper that has been sitting around too long and has yellowed. There is a lot of it though and the notebook will last some time.

Better than most of these similar books
If you're looking for one of these hardcover A5 notebooks, there are a gadzillion to chose from — and I've tried a lot. This is definitely one of the best of the bunch (with a caveat). The paper is excellent — you really notice the difference with 100gsm vs the 70 or 80gsm you get with a lot of them. Yes, if you use a thick fountain pen you'll get a hint of bleed-through. I rarely see paper that won't do that. But for fine-point ink pens (and any roller-ball pen) it's great. The spiral binding is a plus, 'cause you can flip the book open completely. It's a step above even the 'lay-flat' bound books. There's also no branding on the book, which I consider a plus. And the orange is a proper bright orange (so I assume other colors are also as advertised).Caveats to keep in mind: At 300 (thicker) pages and with a spiral binding, this won't fit in most notebook/journal covers; it's simply too thick. That's not a con, just something to be aware of.Bottom line: Great notebook, great paper ... and a lot of it.

Basic, but Nice
Sometimes, what I want is a good, stout, 8.5 x 11 inch notebook with paper that can hold up to an assortment of writing implements and a cover that doesn't mind a few coffee cup rings. And that's what we have here: a basic, well-designed, and stout notebook of a size that suits my scrawling penmanship. I've tried ball point pens, gel-ink pens, mechanical pencils, and a fountain pen on the paper and nothing bleeds through. I suppose I could try to make something bleed through, but that would be on me (I'm notorious for pausing writing with a gel-ink pen on the paper and leaving a blotch the size of a small peanut). The dual-wire spring binding isn't going to deform on me through the act of looking at it too hard. The cover sheds coffee rings with a quick wipe of a paper towel. I also like the paper design with the date and top and bottom margins large enough to do with as I will.A very nice, basic, but well-designed notebook.
