When the weather is nice and I open the windows, the wind blowing through the house will slam the doors closed. Not with these! I attached mine to the top of the door. The long post on the door and the short receiver on the wall. The strong magnet releases with a brief tug. Very easy installation. I couldn't figure out how to get the second backing off the sticker, so I put the sticker on the base and drove two-three screws to attach them. I think the sticker gives this just a little bit of cushion for the unit.

Some of the doors in our place will not stay open. These help keep them open without a lot of fuss. The 3M sticky parts have held up just fine. No issues of it falling off. Also like that it came in white so that it would blend in with the door and baseboard.

Works as described, and the hold on the magnet is just right so far: strong enough to keep the door open, but not so strong to require more than a firm pull to release the door. This was a good solution for a door that opens against a large wardrobe, since I didn’t want to drill holes in the furniture.I used the adhesive to mount the doorstop parts. There were no instructions for the adhesive (only for the screws) so I pressed each part in place for 60 seconds, then let them cure for 24 hours before engaging the magnetic connection. So far, so good, but it’s been only a week.Overall very pleased but I docked a star for lack of instructions for the adhesive, and no info on adhesive removal (should that day come).

It holds up very well just follow the instructions.

I truly love these magnetic door stoppers. You know you’re becoming an adult when things like this are exciting. My normal door stoppers weren’t cutting it anymore so I decided to buy these instead. I didn’t even need the screws because the adhesive is so strong. They look modern which has elevated the feel of my rooms, and the magnet is so much nicer than moving around a door stopper with your foot to get it situated. I 100% recommend and will be buying more!

I used the sticky pads to mount these. At first I was going to use the screws however with the way my door opens I didn’t like how it lines up so I stuck it to the floor. If you are forceful with opening the door it’ll bounce off of the magnet and not hold the door open. I think the baseplates on both sides could be a little bit thicker. It almost cuts your hands when you unscrew them for mounting with the hardware. Overall though I like it so far.
